Belichick Does His Homework On Moore

Glad to see that somebody can admit that. Most people are talking about the guy like he was trash from day 1. Of course, most of those people have been predicting Delhomme to fail every year he's been here too, so I guess they're gloating because they're finally right about something.

Same here. You can hate how Jake is playing this year, but don't deny that he done a lot for us in the past. How else did Smitty did get a Triple Crown award along with Comeback Player of the Year & going to the Pro Bowl several times? Exactly. Jake has never been this bad before this season sadly.

I actually agree I think crappy officiating, a lot of bad calls that games.

Ya think....Two mystery pass interference calls against us, Two muggings pass interference that weren't called for us and Smitty's deep catch that was rule incomplete.

They did everything possible for Dallas that night....HELL THEY EVEN SWALLOWED.....

Bastards

Go Panthers

BB on Jake.

He is a real good QB in this league. He almost beat us in the Super Bowl, only great QB's go to the Super Bowl. He is a strong leader, and his teammates will play their hearts out for him, he is like another coach on the field, he has seen every defense in the league. Every time he is out there the Panthers have a chance to win.

Come on guys, he ain't out there giving us Locker room material.

I'm pretty sure that every HC studies their opponents and Belichick, along with a bunch of other HC's, knew a lot about Matt Moore when he was still in college. Hell, John Fox and his staff obviously knew a lot about him before he became a Panther, which is why he became a Panther in the first place. This is nothing unusual or specific to Bill Bilichick.

In Fox's defense (am I defending Fox, wtf?) FOx does just as much homework as any other coach, he is just much more guarded about what he says to the media. In his mind, the media are also the enemy, they give insight away to your opponent. He treats them like mushrooms, keep them in the dark and feed em sh*t. [/The Departed]

This is another aspect about Fox that disheartens me a little. He hasn't learned in his years here that the media can be your best friend sometimes because other coaches are listening. It can be reverse psychology. You hype a guy up like he's the best in the league and the opposition falls into a false sense of security thinking you have your focus in the wrong place. Throw them a false line sometimes. Talk about how much you're going to pound the rock and then air it out on the first possession.

When Fox speaks, it gives him away because he's not articulate enough to run misdirection so he resorts to fail proof one liners designed to frustrate the media and fans alike.
