here is what i used for each position. i had 100% survival.

tech: tali

fire team leader: jacob

escort: jacob

second team leader: miranda

biotic shield: jack

my squad: samara & legion

and don't leave anyone behind to watch the door

i had every member loyal, and all of their upgrades.

they guarded the door

had Garrus and Asari tits in my group

i'm about to start my second playthrough. i don't have another me1 save i want to import, so i'm just going to start a new dude. sucks cause the money bonus from being rich in me1 was nice.

I never did her upgrade tho, and she was struggling with the door.. and then a random shot went through and she was gonne.>>!>!!?!! WE HAD FINALLY FOUND EACH OTHER

i'm about to start my second playthrough. i don't have another me1 save i want to import, so i'm just going to start a new dude. sucks cause the money bonus from being rich in me1 was nice.

You always get a money boost of 50,000 to everything when you start a second game after you've beaten it. I would suggest just importing your ME2 character if you don't mind being the same class again since all your characters will start at the level they were when you finished the last game.

i want to play a dude this time. both of my ME1 saves are females.

i could never get passed the voice acting for the male in ME1. it really irritates me. the only male save i have is in the middle of Noveria and i don't feel like going back to part one and doing the entire last third of the game just for a ME2 save.

but male characters have more/better squad dialogue options in ME2 so i want to at least give it a shot.

plus i've heard when you import your ME2 character it over-balances for level and makes the game incredibly hard.

It's not TERRIBLE once you get used to him.

I like male shepard's voice, it's just that his acting makes him sound like a psychiatrist.

i've heard there is some improvement in ME2, and i definitely have heard improvement in the trailers, but for fug sake in ME1 it sounded like the guy was rehearsing for his 6th grade play. he had no idea what words to emphasize or how to portray emotion.

Improved Barrier is pretty legit.

Warp ammo is a fav as well.

I'm not one to drool over video game characters, but good lord Miranda has one hell of a body, albeit a digital one.
