Mass Effect 2

Alright, so I recently did a fresh run of ME1. Beat it when it first came out but lost my save. This run was very bare-bones, pretty much did only the story so I could get to jammin on ME2. Do skills and things of that nature carry over?

no, they don't. you get some bonuses for your level and various other things, but your stats are reset.

I am planning on playing as a soldier again in 2, what are some suggestions as far as having a balanced squad? I haven't researched too much for fears of spoilage.
basically the same as part 1. whatever you play, just pick one of each of the other classes if you want to be balanced. if you're a soldier, choose a tech and a biotic.

but balance isn't really necessary. you don't need a tech guy for opening crates anymore. i was a vanguard and most of the time ran with Samara and Jack, the two powerful biotics. we threw everyone out of our way.

later in the game when it started getting hard i brought Grunt along. he is really hard to kill and is a monster.

Guessing you haven't played on insanity yet.

i don't know why the med bay upgrade requires such a vulgar amount of platinum.

if you're trying to do it, here is a good place to go:

planet: patseyev

system: pamyet

cluster: hades nexus

got 10k+ platinum there. knocked out a big chunk of the tedium of mining for it.

still looking for a planet with a large amount of element zero.

got this from another site... it may help ya

I know how much scanning can suck. I'm listing all the planets that are either rich in Element Zero (EZO), Platinum, or both. These are the hardest to find. Scan all the minerals you can from these planets and it should save you some time.

Listed by cluster, then system, then planet.

Caleston Rift

>Aysur: Arvuna

>Balor: Bres, Caleston, Cernunnos, Elatha, Parthalon

Crescent Nebula

>Lusam: Tarith

>Ondeste: Acaeria, Maisuth

Eagle Nebula

>Amun: Anhur

>Relic: Preying Mouth, Rough Tide

Hades Nexus

>Hekate: Bothros

>Pamyat: Patsayev

Hawking Eta

>Schwarzschild: Etamis

Hourglass Nebula

>Faryar: Daratar

>Osun: Erinle

Minos Wasteland

>Caestus: Invictus

>Dakka: Bannik, Zirnitra

Omega Nebula

>Arinlarkan: Utha

>Batalla: Thunawanuro

>Fathar: Dorgal, Lorek

>Sahrabarik: Bindur

Pylos Nebula

>Kriseroi: Theonax

>Satent: Anedia, Boro, Raisaris

Rosetta Nebula

>Alpha Draconis: 2175 Aeia

>Enoch: Joab, Mizraim

The Shrike Abyssal

>Urla Rast: Rosh, Talis Fia

>Xe Cha: Tosal Nym, Zada Ban

Sigurd's Cradle

>Decoris: Sanctum

>Skepsis: Keimowitz, Watson

Valhallan Threshhold

>Paz: Garvug

There are other planets that are rich in the other, more common minerals.

finally finished. only around 18 hours, and i did a totally completionist playthrough. definitely shorter than the first one.

edit: wait a sec, 46 hours. no idea where i got 18 from. need to check my vision.

Heh I just finished as well.

but fuging Tali died :(

I dunno what I forgot with that.

Does she have a Omni-Tool upgrade?

Did me poping that Quarian cherry and giving her the orgasm of her life make her distracted ?

I will set-up my ME1 game better now, and do a set-up run through for me3 in a couple weeks.
