Jaycee Horn says he's "ready to go"

I have seen nothing of his injuries that lead me to think he's fragile. He plays tough and physical.  The NFL is a brutal game. 

I hope he remains healthy,  as he's one of my favorites to watch. The dude is very good at what he does.

He’s been very good when he’s been available, but part of maximizing your ceiling required you being healthy and able to develop.

let’s hope this season he shows he can stay healthy and perform. Gonna suck when he has that inevitable great contract season and we’re stuck in a tight spot

Of course that was my choice back during that draft. But the team really wanted a corner so I’m not even going through it.

Am I missing something? The guy started 13 of 17 games last year. He missed 2 games from bruised ribs and 2 games when he broke his wrist. Neither injury is prone to recur and he showed no serious signs of lingering issues from the foot fracture that ended his rookie year. I know we all wish he could play every snap but at least there's nothing in there to suggest he's going to continue to miss major time. Hell long term, if the early issues deflate his 2nd contract value, it might be a blessing in disguise cause a healthy Horn has perennial 1st team all pro potential and that is going to cost a fortune.

If we got Parsons then I think Burns for those 2 1st round picks would have made a lot more sense.

The kid has played football his entire life. A few extra snaps in a meaningless preseason game or 2 is not going to make much of a difference. 

 

He'll get plenty of work in. No need to put him out there just for us fans.
