I couldn’t pull cliche from the memory banks and got platitudes stuck in there. So I looked up platitudes…

“A remark or statement, especially one with a moral content, that has been used too often to be interesting or thoughtful”

and what is more of a moral statement than something dealing with hiccuping weasels!
