Brandon Miller brought his friend a gun. If that's a shitty person then I feel sorry for the millions of people who have committed this same act.lmao

Bro are you just miserable a person?

You have yet to place blame on the actual killer. All you want to talk about is a kid who brought a friend his gun. Are you okay?

I see we are deflecting now 😂

I feel like this whole conversation is a "WHOOSH" over your head.

Keep ranting my man. Maybe someone with power will hear you out and get murda man Miller behind bars.

It's time to start focusing on basketball. If he did something wrong im sure they will reopen the case then we can have some discussion on his future off the court.

Keep deflecting my man. Find me a post where I accused him of murder. Better yet, tell me I'm miserable again. That'll do the trick.

Well if he didn't kill anyone wtf are we doing here!

What is your goal here my man? Im legit confused.

You have been defending justified criticism of the guy by being his #1 Cheerleader in this forum. Hope Miller sends you some autographed knee pads.

Wouldn't it make more sense to ask why he wants it? Might've saved a life doing just that.

It belonged to him and was accidentally left in Miller’s car. You want this 19 year old to ask 20 questions before returning a teammate his legal property? I really encourage people to read the facts on this case. He stated he was already in route to pick up Miles and Davis before he got the text about the gun and didn’t even realize it was left back there.

Poor choice of teammates to hang out with 100%. Should have paid more attention as to what was entering and leaving his car 100%. It was poor judgment but he is still a free man because he legally did nothing wrong.

I'd like someone to show me where I blamed him for murdering anyone. Good luck, because you're not going to find it. You can, however, question someone's life choices and make that valid concern known without brushing it aside because *mouth waters* he in the league and he got money

What should he have done? Not given his teammate his gun back and continued to drive around with it illegally? Called the police on his teammate, who may or may not have had a legal permit to carry the gun in the first place? Have you ever considered that depending on how events unfold there are never any good options? I'm sure the last thing Miller thought was that someone would die later in the evening. That is precisely why he wasn't charged. He didn't do *anything* wrong, legally or morally. He just had poo luck. Furthermore its Alabama. Everybody has a gun. Especially anyone with anything worth losing. Its not like he had 10 kilos in the backseat.

Miles and his co-defendant actually have a good chance of being found not guilty due to self-defense. The victim's boyfriend allegedly fired the first shots.

Did you expect a defense attorney to say something different?

Miller's attorney, Jim Standridge, released a statement in which he pushed back on the idea that Miller was directly involved in the shooting.

Standridge claimed that Miles asked Miller to drive him to the strip earlier in the evening, and Miles left his gun in the back seat of Miller's vehicle. Miller never saw the gun or handled it, per Standridge's statement, as it was concealed under some clothing.

Miller was unaware that there was any argument, and he was already on his way to pick up Miles before a message was sent regarding the gun, per Standridge's statement.

"Brandon never touched the gun, was not involved in its exchange to Mr. Davis in any way, and never knew that illegal activity involving the gun would occur," the statement said in part.

The statement also noted that Miller had "fully cooperated" with the investigation and "submitted to multiple interviews."

    • I complete disagree. Who is available is extremely relevant. If you have a couple of players you would be happy with and you can still get them if you trade back, you should do that in a heartbeat. Being afraid that people will lowball you next year is an odd stance. Then you just say no next year, problem solved. In this particular draft you can get a very good player at 46. But to each their own.
    • I don't think so.  Watson really screwed them up.  I see something happening, but do not know what.  Cousins could be had in a trade--but they liked Flacco when he played there.  If it were me, I would not spend the #2 pick on Sanders.  I would go after a tier 2 qb because I think Will Howard is going to start in the NFL soon, and I think Ewers was rated very high at the beginning of the year--he knows adversity and he beat out a Manning while taking Texas to 2 playoff appearances.  I am not good at picking QBs, but I think Howard's run pass option and his accuracy is going to help someone.  Stay in Ohio and play for the Browns behind Flacco--
    • After Cam at #1, there are three or four elite players and there could be a trade--If I am the Giants and I am needed a winning season badly and I have several needs, I might trade out and pick up mid first and an extra second rounder, including a QB--while nobody is going to move up to #3 for Sanders, they might for Carter or Hunter.  If the Giants then move back, Sanders could still be in play.  That could be the trade in the top 3.  New England wants Campbell and I get that; Jacksonville at #5 could move back if someone wants Graham or Jeanty.  But barring some trade, the top 4 are probably locked in. So it could be 2 hours into the draft before we get any surprises. Nice list, by the way--you nailed it.
