"Same poo different year"

Yes that comes across as you're expecting the same results from last season. This a new year my man, new staff, new QB. You being a party pooper.

When you read something, do you always start with the last sentence?  Because when you exclude 90% of context to fit your narrative it sure does look odd.

On a more serious note, Blackshear looked good in his limited snaps last year. Hope he gets more opportunities this year. Doesn’t help he’s not exactly complimentary to Sanders’ running style though.

I've been a Blackshear fan from the beginning. He was signed by the Bills as an UDFA and ended up on their practice squad where we snatched him. His kick return skills are awesome, his hands are good and his seeing the entire field is good. Reminds me of Rod Smart "He Hate Me". I'm hoping for big things from him.

Just quoting what you posted.

But did you?  Or did you only quoted one  tiny part to support your crappy narrative?

How about that no pads comments?  You know, folks making assumptions based on dudes running in shorts with no real pressure?  There are always those minicamp warriors who flop the seconds pads come on.  Tell me that’s not true.

Baker looked great in OTAs last year too.  We won’t know anything until pads go on.  Same poo different year.

Ok so here is the dumb full quote. You reminded everyone our QB looked decent this early in OTAs also (pretty sure we traded for him later like in July and he wasn’t a rookie but whatever). We get you didn’t like Young because he didn’t fit in some random models you were obsessing over, but let the fans of his have their hype. This time of year with this team/staff should provide plenty of hype and hope for our future!

I don’t like Young?  You got all that from my quote? Jfc, this board.

I got that from your pre draft comments when you were constantly talking about how his size doesn’t fit the models you were looking at. It’s no big deal if you were against drafting him. There is a fair point to be made against it, but the pick has been made and there is no need to keep raining on the parade. That’s all.

And if you actually paid attention, I jumped on Young bandwagon weeks before he was drafted when I realized he was likely the pick.  Feel free to go back and research.

The most recent one comparing him to Baker with a “same poo different year” comment doesn’t seem to align with that, but I’ll take your word on it. If I had you pegged wrong then I apologize.  Like I said nothing wrong with being against it before the draft, I preferred Stroud throughout most of it.

The whole comment was about no pads.   CamWhoaaCam took the whole thing out of context to what feeds his own little narrative and people followed along.

All good.  I’m all in on Bryce Young train.  I trust no reports from minicamp or summer camp until the pads go on.  That’s when tempers rise and folks jobs are on the line and many minicamp warriors simply vanish.

    • Nah I wanna see these NFL evaluators talking about his prospects at WR aren't good because I would LOVE to see thier explanations
    • You do realize that raw stats don't make someone a better or worse player, right? To begin with, the last time I checked, 1,319 is more yards than 1,258, so T-Mac had more yards (but I'll forgive you as a typo there and say you meant catches lol), but that's before even factoring in that Hunter did his in 13 games vs 12 for T-Mac because Arizona didn't make a bowl game. It's also completely ignoring the team around each player.  If you think Hunter having the 8th place finisher in the Heisman voting at QB isn't going to result in helping his top WRs stats, then you're sticking your head in the sand to purposefully not see it. Hunter's QB had 353 completions for 4,134 yards and 37 TDs vs T-Mac's QB who had 260 completions for 2,958 yards and 18 TDs. But sure, let's rank NFL prospects by their stats and say the guy with more catches and TDs is the better prospect.  So on that note, I now change my mind, T-Mac is no longer the best WR in the draft, it's Nick Nash who had 104 rec, 1,382 yards, and 16 TDs, all numbers better than Hunter's... because that's how this is done, right? As I've said before, if someone wants to like a player better than someone else that's totally fair, but come with real reasons, talk about their play, but to talk about things like stats as your reasoning, when you ignore the obvious and massive flaws in using those stats in that way, just makes you look dumb.
    • Nah you don't go out and put up the numbers he did without being able to run routes dude is a football junky so he works on his craft he isn’t THAT much more athletic than other players to just be able to go out and do whatever and succeed at that level
