The headline of the article on his retirement mentions that his crew once reffed a Super Bowl.

I don't remember which one it was, but I do remember there being complaints about poor officiating afterwards.

I had to look that one up.  It was the Ravens-Niners game.

I use to call him "the leagues attack dog."  When the NFL needed a certain result of a particular game, Boger delivered.  Even if he looked like a complete idiot in the process.
