As Someone like myself that has had conversations about adoption this hits home. What a fantastic guy. Also speaking of Jacob would you argue that he’s our best player? Maybe our most important player?

Such a cool story and he is a special human being. It’s why I got so pissed he got headhunted the other night. 
 

My 4 kids are all adopted. It’s the hardest and favorite part of my life. It’s also the reason I only get to 1 or 2 games a year, haha.

 Yes to both. 
 

Don’t know if this is normally done in hockey with him being a defensemen, but I think he should wear the C on his sweater when Stall hangs it up.

I think he is an important player and serves as a moral compass for the team but I don't think he's the most important.  It's Svech and it's not that close tbh.  I do think that Slavin has been integral in training and grooming our D core and he is very important however.
