Woj is wrong way more than he is right

If this was saying Scoot was the favorite I doubt you would be saying this.

Just look at this thread everyone is giving pie to the Scoot rumors. When Miller rumors are posted everyone is doubting the source.

Young/Stroud 2.0 you can't make this up!

I dont think its going to be THAT bad but deff the same vibes.

Miller is the best shooter in the draft and you comparing him to one of the worst shooters in NBA history.

This thread is turning into a bunch of Scoot fanboys hating on Miller.

I prefer Miller but im not in here bashing Scoot. You got people in this thread saying this dude is MKG when they play nothing alike.smh

Talent wise there are parallels to the Young Stroud debate but full picture neither of them had a murder looming in the background. So it's weird how quick some folks are to dismiss that. But then again we had the same kind of instant reaction from some folks here to Miles Bridges beating on the mother of his kids so this is an ugly layer of sports.

You should actually read up on the situation man. It's not even clear there was wrongdoing on his part and you're comparing it to beating up a woman in front of her children.

Sir the police department already said he was clear of charges. If he had any involvement I think he would be in jail right now.

It's time to move pass that. The guy who actually committed the murder is already behind bars. You make it seem like Miller was in on the murder like he knew his friend was going to shoot and kill someone.smh

At this point neither of us can say there was or wasn't. We weren't there we don't know what goes on in this young mans head. If there explicitly wasn't he wouldn't be giving a canned disclaimer to teams and anyone else who asks about it. There's nothing wrong with talking about any of this as an issue moving forward because for the time being it is not going away. If we don't agree that's fine.

Is the guy really showing up with a disclaimer saying he won't talk about the gun situations? That's wild if true and if I had nothing to hide, I sure as hell wouldn't have a problem talking about it.

That is what his lawyers are advising him to do.  A lady was killed in a serious crime and his teammates were charged.  Him saying anything that could contradict the report could reopen charges.  A simple misspoken word or dismissive comment could lead to a PR nightmare or legal actions.  I understand why he is being advised to not talk about it, I also understand that being a deal breaker for some teams.  It's a calculated risk.

So how much longer do we have to talk about it?

Also what is talking about it going to do for the lady who lost her life?

The guy who pulled the trigger will spend the rest of his life behind bars. Justice has been served.

If you and I were friends and I left my gun in your car. You know me as a friend and decided to bring me my gun. After that you go on your way. If I shoot someone with the gun you brought me do you think you should go to jail with me?

A lot of people want to look at it one way until you are in that position. Im not responsible for my friend actions. Sorry but what he did with his gun is on him.

Plus there is still a trial to be had.  I'm not sure he can even legally talk about it yet....

We already discussed this. Police cleared him I'm cool with it but showing up everywhere with a disclaimer is fuging wild if all he did was return his friend's gun to him lol.  That kind of mentality is "Loose Lips Sink Ships".

Im not sure people realize the reason you hire a lawyer is for them to speak and represent you on your behalf.

Speaking on a open case is just flat out a big "no no".

If people want answers then wait till after the trial.

    • It would be really nice to win these close games against these good teams.  The team is depleted with injuries it feels like every season.  If Mark Williams can’t get healthy they absolutely have to find someone else with a pulse.  This is ridiculous this guy is collecting paychecks and never plays.
    • Am I the only one who feels conflicted?  Fan since a team was announced so close to me in '93 (used to be a Redskins fan).  Never faltered as a fan, ever.   However, I watch Bryce and for some reason I try to justify that pick at #1.  Like maybe he's learned something sitting on the bench while Dalton played a few games.  I was totally on board with Bryce getting kicked to the curb several weeks ago.  Like 100%.  But watching these last couple of games, I hate to admit that I'm pulling for the guy.   Am I the "bad guy" for saying so?  I have no clue.  I'm so conflicted that I've confused myself.  I love the Panthers and just want the best for them.  I think our receivers are looking decent to good, 1-3 potentially looking great including the TE.  Chuba looked great after getting his extension which is rare in my experience of watching.  But I'm just torn on the rest.   I hate to wish bad on Bryce.  And at the same time like his *decent* play the last couple of weeks.  Am I just wanting more than what's there?  Again, I've never wavered as a fan since the announcement in '93.  I've been through the horrible years, regardless of owners.  I have my personal opinions of Tepper.  But I'm watching Bryce and just hoping to God that he keeps improving.   If someone can just destroy my hopes and that we have absolutely NO choice but to wait for another 1st string QB, please destroy me.  I'm just trying to find light in this team I've loved for over 30 years.  But I know it may not be possible as far as QB goes.
    • That throw from Stroud was traaaaaash. He had that guy wide ass open but got too complacent with the throw. Floated it so much it gave the DB a chance to recover and pick it. Turnover fest this evening
