Best seats

We are in the upper deck.  We spent the first 10 years 28 rows up (5 rows from the top) on the 15 yard line.  True "nose bleeds" but they were good seats.

Last year we moved our seats - still upper deck but 11 rows up and near mid-field.  They are great seats.  It is pretty much the same view you would get from a TV at home.. can see the whole field easily without having to follow the action with your head and can keep all in peripheral.   The few times I have sat in the lower bowl or in the suites - I did not enjoy it as much because of the views aren't as good in my opinion.

Sound system absolutely sucks where we are though.  Cannot hear it at all.  It's like Charlie Brown's teacher.  Have to watch the closed captioning.

Thanks!

Try to find shade.  That Charlotte sun is BEAMING!  Sat in the non-shaded side of the 100s against the Bengals one year.  My son was shirtless before the end of the 1st quarter.  I typically sit near the back of 231 in the shade, but I'd much rather be midfield somewhere.

Also, maybe not be a risk you want to take.. but I've had pretty good luck buying tix right before walking it.  Sat in club level pretty affordably in Luke's last game.

Best seat: my living room.

Only ever been to one game (2005 opener vs. the Saints) and it was a miserable experience. Heat, sunburn from hell, overpriced food/drinks, and almost got in a fight with some drunk guy over a misunderstanding about tipping one of the stadium vendors.

Nevermind that we lost the game and that the tiny stadium seats are a (literal) pain in the ass for larger folks like myself.

Ever since then the appeal of the in-person "gameday experience" has been lost on me. Probably doesn't help that I came home to the coast to a hurricane warning with 24 hours to prepare.

What a time 😖

Trying to find seats to take my grandson. Can anyone help? Is upper level row one good seats or are they nosebleeds? Hard to find a block of 3 tickets.

It’s all about what you’re comfortable with.  Row 1 up top would be a fantastic spot for the grandkids.

Upper level

Pros: All-22 view, fun fans

Cons: Stairs can be a bit much, longer walks to concessions.

Lower lever

Pros: Better amenities, closer to the field, fewer stairs

Cons: $$$, end zone seats limit views, more business-casual than fan pit.

This might help you

one thing is certain you really don’t want to be on the sun side during sept to mid October. You will fry

the shade is on the Panthers side of the field. I have tickets in 342 and I’m covered all season long but I’m up near the big windows protected by the overhang

But not all seats on that side are covered.  Just take that situation indoors consideration

good luck

Is section 545 seats 16, 17, 18 in the shade?

I’m not really sure because of  how the stadium curves vs how the sun moves in the fall

if it’s on the home team side, same side as my section, it might not be directly beating down on you.  If it is in the sun, wear a hat, lots of sun screen and plenty of water.  Of course it may be cloudy so it won’t  matter.

First few rows of the upper deck aren't nosebleeds at all. I actually prefer the upper deck, better view of the whole field and it has more of a working class feel which makes it rowdier up there lmao. I'd almost suggest two or three rows up though. Pending on how old your grandson is, I swear I feel like some of the first few rows might have some sort of gate or barrier that I could see it being difficult to see over if you're super short. Maybe I'm dreaming this my PSL's are on row 23 so idk.
