As expected, NJ was going to get to their game. Would like to see us capitalize on the rush when the Devils inevitably turn the puck over and we have a 2 on 1 going the other way.

Until refs start calling penalties and players start getting big bans, they will keep doing it. The bigger problem is our skaters aren't doing it. We saw kadri's cheap shot last year that hurt binnington and he didn't even get a game.

 

I'm surprised more players aren't coached to do it

Yes us collapsing is bad.(we have the best goalies in hockey for that, 3/5 of the best regular season) but if they close 4-5 forwards around the net we are going to clump. It’s a weakness and a bonus.

Actually a really good point, feels like we should rotate some of the older guys (Stepan/Stastny) this series due to the speed of NJ.
