I need to stop watching FS1.

Nick Wright just said we will have the worst offense in the NFL and said we have a bad Oline and no weapons.lol

These people get paid millions but know absolutely nothing about football. Just bad takes daily.

I like Nick he's usually on point with his opinions. The problem is the national media doesn't have time to really break down our roster and playmakers, but in his defense if you've watched any of our preseason games ummm I'd probably say the same. We feel different because one we're homers and two we're extremely optimistic about our team. When I talk to non fans or look up other people's opinions they have are WRs ranked about bottom 3-4 out of the entire league. If you've seen our Oline in preseason it looks like a bottom of the league Oline. Put those two together with a rookie QB and I don't see how we're not projected close to the bottom 5ish offensively. I want us to be good I'm bragging we'll win the South this year but it's going to be a major uphill battle based off what we've seen in preseason so far bad blocking no speed or separation in the WR room and no open lanes for our RB to get through. Yes I know it's just preseason so you don't game plan but if you've seen other teams you'll notice the Steelers go out and the offense looks effective. Saints looked good with their starters like the Jets NYG and countless other teams.

Agreed. We do tend to overrate our players in here but our OL did not look great against the Jets and Giants starters. The media just saw Iky let up multiple sacks and Lawrence have his way with Bozeman. Thielen has literally been the only consistent starting WR/TE who’s looked decent and hasn’t been hurt. Sanders has been hurt all preseason and we have a rookie QB. Young looked decent, especially against the Lions but they were 30th in scoring D last year, a push over.

Until we show more in real games, you are correct that the national media would rate us low.

Here's an unusual story...

Can you blame him?  Its the Browns and you would have to backup Deshaun "Happy Ending" Watson. While having to hold his helmet for him between possessions York may get some sort of jizz material on his hands. At least in Tenn. nobody is a proven sex offender and predator who bought his way to freedom.

All very true. Nick Wright also thinks Bryce is going to be a bust.

    • I don't get the Hunter hate. Just imagine his ceiling if he stopped trying to be this 2way freak and focused on one side of the ball
    • 100%.  You have to play the cards that are dealt.  Not the cards you wish were dealt.
    • I'd say its definitely going to be addressed this off-season.  We went into the last draft with a roster of RBs including:  Chubba, Blackshear, and Miles Sanders. We picked Jonathan Brooks in the second and still signed Rashaad Penny afterwards.  Fast forward....One turned into a top 10 back, 1 is injured/out for most if not all the '25 season, 1 retired, 1 will either take a huge paycut or be cut, and the last is a restricted free agent. We brought in Mike Boone as well. Add him to the free agent list also.  We need a physical option.    Which qualifies:  Ashton Jeanty(Boise St): Overall ranked Top 10. Almost 2k yards after contact, 28 tds. Would take our first rounder. My money would be on an NFC East team selecting him. (97.2 PFF run grade) - 121 forced missed tackles.  Omarion Hampton(UNC): Ranked everywhere from 20 - 59 overall. Consensus #2 back after Jeanty. He'll be a second rounder. 1,222 Yards after contact w/ 15 tds.  (90.5 PFF run grade) - 72 forced missed Tackles Kaleb Johnson(Iowa): Ranked from 38 - 69 depending on which media outlet you prefer but generally #3. 2nd/3rd possibly. 1,060 Yards after contact w/ 21 tds.(86.7 PFF run grade)- 66 forced missed tackles Cam Skattebo: Ranked from the 50's - 104. Every mock I do he ends up BPA at some point. 969 Yards after contact w/ 17 tds(92 PFF Run Grade). Probably the best receiving back of the group. 81 forced missed tackles.  If the '24 and '25 draft classes were combined, IMO the rankings would be, in order: Jeanty, Hampton, Brooks, Johnson, Skattebo. I wouldn't take one high but I'd take one for Chubba and Brooks insurance.
