Not that long ago, the Colts front offi 😕ce was held up as a standard for other NFL teams to follow.

Not sure if it's the influence of Jim Irsay or other factors, but I'm starting to get the impression those days are over.

This is all just so dumb. If you're not gonna pay the guy, just trade him for the best offer you can get and move on. It's in both osrrties' best interest. Why they're willing to cut their own nose off to spite their face to win a dick measuring contest with a player is just baffling.

Never had a fastball. Had a very talented bunch of players. Man, do I wish we had a better coach during the Cam and Luke years. He lucked into a bunch of guys who could make stuff out of nothing (Cam) and players who were basically coaches (Luke, Greg, TD, etc.). He needed that because he and Shula weren’t good coaches.

My lord @Gerry Green, all you do is poo. Dude, you need to get your happy face on. You are supposed to be the super positive guy, right?

    • The recipe over the last 5 years: 1. draft a guy with high athletic ability at a position of need.  2. play him out of his natural position because you have a big hole to fill. 3. watch him struggle.  4. let a young and promising talent grow depressed and apathetic because a God forsaken franchise is ruining what he has busted his ass his entire life to achieve.  The only reason Luke moved to the middle was because Beason got hurt. Think about that. It’s complete arrogance of the coaching staff to tell a player where he’s better suited… or the mark of a desperate team who drafts out of need.    This is what happens to teams that draft poorly and have no depth. Constantly working from behind and drafting for need.
    • Headed into a 15-day stretch of hell with 9 games, including 3 back-to-back sets against some of the best teams in the league. The Rags, the reigning Cup champs (twice), NJ, Dallas, etc. Standings: ABH (Anybodyhome): 3 MDC (MillionDollarCam): 2 PF69 (Panthers Fan 69): 2 P81 (panthers 81): 1 or1201 (organicrusty 1201): 1 PC (Panther Chris): 1 DE (David Eng): 1
    • The remaining schedule for November. Last 15 days of the month includes 3 back-to-backs and a tough schedule of teams to match. Unfortunately, I think the fast start and unexpected success will quickly remind us that this is a new Hurricanes team, not without its issues. And I think we'll learn what some of those issues are over the next 2 weeks; 15 days; 9 games. Frankly, I'll be surprised and satisfied if the Canes come out of these possible 18 points with 8.
