Not at all. After the Steelers made the pick it was obvious that NE did it to take the only T left before a big drop out the Jets hands. They reached (value wise) on McDonald because they were thinking T.

The sad part is neither the Pats or Jets will make the playoffs this year.

Not really they are use to missing the playoffs. They still celebrating the Namath days. NY is a Giants town anyway the Jets are the little brother.

You bring in Aaron Rodgers to a team with plenty of talent like the Jets and you expect the playoffs.  I've heard Jets fans mentioning the Super Bowl which I think is extreme, especially in the AFC.

Yeah they mentioning SB but I don't see anybody in the media picking them to win the AFC. Even before the trade happened most people were saying Rodgers should have stayed in the NFC because the road to the SB is much easier.

 

I just can't see a 40 year old Rodgers competing and beating the top QB's in the AFC.
