Here is how I see it. With Corbett most likely going on pup, that leaves 1 roster spot open which I believe will go to Leota due to our lack of experienced 3-4 OLB. I also like Vann as our primary returner, its hard to turn down someone who had a 15.1 average last season. There are a couple other UDFAs I think have a shot to make it, but its too close to call right now for me.

Actually he said he’s not going to fill all 90 spots with UDFA.  He said there’s free agency and the xfl to pull from

There’s pluses and minuses to not going all the way to 90. It gives the guys at highly competitive positions more playing time, in theory

Realistically, when do we expect Bryce to take over the starting position? Personally, I’d love for him to be ready by week 1 of the regular season. As a fan I’m excited to see games with him at Qb, not Dalton. No disrespect towards him.

A graduate student and the back injury was two years ago.  He played in every game last season.

To me, he's got to be a better blocker.  Neither are setting the world on fire receiving, but Thomas is the better blocker as of now.  People hate on Ian, but he is a good run blocker, especially on plays where he is pulling as a lead blocker.  Go back and watch the Detroit game.  Ian was a major reason we ran for over 300 yards.

Now, Tremble wouldn't have to improve too much as a receiver to pass Thomas, and cumulatively he may very well be better this year.  Tremble did have some really good routes, especially later in last season.

Tremble becoming a more consistent receiving threat would certainly elevate this TE group.

I see Brown playing plenty of nose. He is basically the prototypical player for that role. You could argue it wastes some of his talent but he will end up there, especially when there are only two down lineman.
