Here is how I see it--if you are going to be weak at Edge/pass rusher, you better be strong at CB and vica versa--

I am not as down on the Johnson pick as most--I think he would have been higher had he been treated with some common sense at Oregon.  So he is unknown, and he has the size and speed to be good--and he and Barno should push each other in the area of development.  I would have taken Ojulari over Mingo, but I think Mingo has the potential to be Moose II.  By taking Mingo and then Johnson, we are focused on more of a long-term benefit than immediate needs--that is why this pick is so hard to understand.  In a year or two, imagine if Johnson and Barno have been coached up and become good?
