Gotta trade up for Mayer or Washington at this point. Otherwise why did we draft Young?

Thielen/Chark is just not enough for a rookie QB. Guys like Herbert/Burrow have 2 #1 WR's for goodness sake.

No need to trade up if you like both at #39. If that’s your move wait for one to go first

Both those guys have been to pro bowls.  There isn’t a #1 WR left man.  Neither Mayer or Washington are dynamic pass catchers.  Looks like we will wait for now

Oh damn. Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison in Minnesota? That offense can be scary

I told my wife this week that Deonte Banks might be going to the Giants. I'm not going to say it felt good to say "I told you so" BUT... 👀

Buffalo trading up for Dalton Kincaid to get their TE

I feel like Dallas goes Mayer here and is quite happy about it. He can block and he can catch. Notre Dame has been solid with producing TEs the last few years.

5 picks left in the 1st. Do CAR trade up from 39 to the PHI pick @ 30? Any1 else trade up for that bonus option yr?

Does your wife care about the draft or is she a giants fan?

Kinda slow, but got it done in college. Might not translate as a receiver

He ran a 4.7. Jason Witten ran a 4.65.  Todd Heap ran a 4.68. Those are the comps for me. Guys that don't wow you on tape with any individual play. They're average athletes with no real highlights they just block well, get open, and catch balls. Over and over and over again.

    • He can say what he feels, but he's not saying "the previous year, the team wasn't very good" he directly called his teammates out and in a way that is flat-out not true. "You are your record"? Oh ok, he's only had 3 winning seasons, but in my mind he isn't a loser, and I bet he isn't in his either - cause football is a team sport and wins and losses are on the team, even when one really bad player (Jimminy Pickles) can basically screw over everything.  And this comes on the heels of his thing about the MVP, which is fine, but also selfish. His teammates consistently went to bat for him... Just feels like he's more about himself.
    • Good point--I think this draft is great for us at this time--At the top of the draft, the DT (DEs/NTs in 3-4) are loaded.  The Edges are deep.  We need to double dip there--hoping to move back so we can add three players to that pool.  In free agency, if I were Morgan, I would focus on DBs and  ILB--fix the back end of the defense.  If he signed a S, CB, ILB, and TE, it would be cost effective.  In the draft, DE, Edge, and WR should be the priorities.  After that, OL Depth, QB depth, DB depth, RB depth.  My Free agent Targets:  TE: Juwan Johnson, Saints.  29, had over 500 yards with Saints. S: Julian Blackmon, Colts.  He will be one of the top free agents--gonna cost us, but not like an edge or WR. ILB: Tyrel Dodson, Dolphins.  80 tackles on just 854 snaps--under 27 years of age. CB: Mike Jackson, Carolina.  He is 28 and had 3 picks and was on the field at all times.  68 PFF score. NT:  best available for Evero's system.
