I don't think we're picking at 39...

I know we have needs on defense but would love for us to focus on the offense this offseason.

Players I’d love to team up with Bryce:

Jaylin Hyatt, Jahmyr Gibbs, Kincaid, Zay Flowers, Josh Downs, Cedric Tillman, Darnell Washington

If we do draft Darnell Washington,

that's gotta be the biggest height differential in draft history.  Panthers make draft history again!  LFG!

Zay Flowers, please.

Gonna be a Bonifide star but I wonder also if 1 of the tight ends like Mayer or Kincaid get close.... Definitely  going to have to continue  to bolster the offense. There are still a few choices in free agency for pass rush... not much else for offense that really stands out free agent wise.

Yeah we're going to try to move up from 39, and if that fails we'll try and move down. Just imo it sounds like (I'm reading into this nothing solid) that moving up is less likely to happen than moving down because other teams are more interested in going up to 39, than down to 39.

Fitty is an absolute master, seriously.  He will trade out and gather picks no doubt.  Man knows talent too.  This draft isn’t close to over after round one…Fitty bout to dominate.  Without Matt Stool he can finally pick his guys

Move up for Zay Flowers please!

Young/Flowers would make this offense scary!

Trading up for the 5th year option is worth it if the price is right. And Fitterer doesn't normally get fleeced. Ideally, I'd love to see an Edge like Nolan Smith, but WR is pretty decent in the late first. Not sure if  someone like Jaxon Smith-Njigba or Quentin Johnson falls. But, others like Zay Flowers and Jordan Addison would be a great addition.

Yeah I think Zay might be closer to 39th than some of the other top guys just because he has a shorter catch radius. I think Fitt knows we need to add another big play WR badly, and he didn't snag a top WR in FA.

If we can get Quentin in the early 20's then we need to make a move imo. Quentin might be there because his route running is kind of sloppy, so he could fall below his athletic ability would otherwise place him.

He's another big body WR.

Quentin is definitely the WR I see dropping. I think JSN/Flowers will be the first 2 WR's off the board.

Kincaid & JSN are the obvious 2 that will be gone that we shouldn't even bother wishing for in a trade up.  JSN is the clear cut WR1 and Kincaid is arguably the best pure receiving threat in the draft (TE and WRs combined)

After those two though, it's anyone's guess..

For me, Addison is the only one after them that has the worthiness as a prospect to trade up for.

This may be unpopular, but I just don't see some astronomical difference between Zay Flowers and Josh Downs or even Tank Dell.

Addison at his best is an absolute game changer, can play slot, outside, is very Diggs-esque with a smoothness and just enough speed to break huge 50+ yard plays consistently.  Can catch every type of ball with ease.

He had a strange senior year (which I believe is more due to Caleb William's shortcomings that will be microscoped later this year) but he was an absolute madman for Pickett in 2021 and looked like he was cruising to that G Wilson/OBJ sure-thing type pick.  He's the one that if we somehow land, that would be something to get excited about.

Addison is the reason Kenny Pickett was a 1st round pick would love to get home somehow. The way the game is going you don’t need to be a giant to be a stud at the position

    • Easily. To be able to plug in a backup LT without much drop off from your starter? That could mean the difference between playoffs or sitting at home in January. Good/serviceable smart young and healthy LTs that won’t lose you a ball game at reasonable $$ don’t just come along every day. Picture next year… the team is scrappy and competitive, 4 and 3 record, second place in the South. Morale is good. devastating run game that Let’s our marginal defense get plenty of rest. We play the Bucs and win, going to 5 and 3, but we lose Ickey to a high ankle sprain. Atl loses that week and are now at 5 and 3 as well. There is no Ickey and no BC because we let him go… and we go in to Atl the next week for a battle of first in the south. Week after that is the Jets…. Now they lose both by 10 and 3, respectively, and fall to 5 and 5 going in to their bye week. Atl is at 7 and 3. Out of typical Panthers desperation, they try to rush Ickey back in to the lineup with a saints game coming up…  Back to good old Panthers football, always playing catchup. Another season at .500 and the fans sadly rejoice in mediocrity, when playoffs were in reach. This team always overestimates its ability to pick up quality o line depth in the draft or FA and it always blows up in their faces. Like Chuba, I see him as being part of the core that Dan is trying to build. Work on his contract now and see if we can come out with something mutually beneficial. I’d consider 3 yrs at $25m to be very fair.
    • it would be great to have "double trouble" again, I even had a T- shirt for Williams and Stewart and the double trouble logo, was a great time to be Panthers fan. We shall see...
    • Sounds like a plan. Those are the teams we should be mimicking! lol
