Short yardage running back?

Who should we be targeting to fill that power running back role by draft or other means?

I agree we need someone.  They see Sanders as that 3 down back.  I hope they bring in someone like a Fournette type vet on a cheap deal.  I just feel the RB room is missing something and in case of injury, I would hate to be reliant on Chuba.

I'm just happy to see a thread based on anything but a QB!!! We do need a short yardage back for sure!

If it’s “short” yards we can just use Young.

Checking out the squads our staff came from 2010s SF, LAR peak-McVay, Philly, & Indy they tend to have a main back w/supporting committee approach with the backups being viable in the 3-down role so I wouldn't look past us going for an all-around back--or, basically, one that's not Charbonnet or Roschon Johnson.  

We could just as much use a home run threat and get some speed on this offense.  Chark is our only skill player sub 4.44.

We have Byrd who ran a 4.28, granted we don't know if he is still that fast

Draft Young at 1 to play QB the trade everything we can to draft AR to only play short yardage power back.

I wonder if the team is aiming for a group of every down guys. There isn't a sledgehammer in the backfield currently, but there ARE five of them on the OL

DeWayne McBride or Kendre Miller would be money in that 93-114 range.

Sean Tucker or Kendre Miller are my preferences after the 4th. If we look earlier Roschon Johnson would be solid or Zach Charbonnet if we go really sexy in the 2nd or 3rd.

Hunter Luepke would be great if we had a 6th but if he doesn't get drafted i'd love to get him as a UDFA.
