he likely did get an x ray done. not all fractures appear on x ray imaging

Hard to say without out being behind closed doors - but feels like our medical staff has been dropping the ball for years with surgeries well into the off-season. I think players and agents like to wait to see if the body is able to heal itself without an operation, but missing a fracture that occurred prior to the final game of the season and operating in April is frustrating for all parties involved. He should be several months into a recovery right now had they operated once the swelling etc. from the initial injury happened.

Dude probably had a stress fracture that finally was determined to need surgery to get right. You guys dogging the team medical staff have no clue. Burns will be ready for camp, no big deal.

Sounds like he wanted to take a wait and see approach and hopefully recover and avoid surgery. That comes at the expense of our upcoming season if he is in any way less prepared mentally or physically at the start of the season.

Without burns our defense will be a dumpster fire we've been really lucky generally he's been mostly healthy for so long until this cropped up
