Sure dude. As soon as you explain any possible way that Bryce compares to Steve Young, other than being short.

Steve Young is a HOF QB. Bryce will be lucky to see a second contract.

You Brycers' all think you have all the answers. Such a smug group.

so you have nothing. just hate.

With this place? It doesn't matter. Who cares? People post whatever they want. Why should I care about your piddly question?

Someone compares Bryce Young to Steve Young. And the Brycer's eat it up. Doesn't matter that it is nowhere near being true.

It is just further proof that the Brycer's will say anything.

CJ is Montana, prove me wrong. See how easy that was?

are you ever not raging? Bryce Young is going to be the next Panthers QB. I never said i prefer him over other prospects, but i recognize that he is the pick and now support him as the QB of my team. how long are you going to continue to hate him?

I will rail against him until we draft him. Then I will just make fun of him for the 3 or so years he's in the league. Then I will go back to hating him.

Edit to add; If by the grace of all that's holy, he lasts for 5 or more years? I will still make fun of him. But he had better bring a SuperB owl. Or it was a waste of resources.

You think Bryce is more athletic then Steve young?

I think, relative to the rest of the league at their respective times, Young was one of the more athletic QBs and had a strong arm. Compare Bryce to the rest of the league and he’s not on the more athletic side and his arm isn’t in the top half of the NFL.

I just saw an interview with Bryce Young, and that's pretty much what he said. Other than occasional passing lanes, he primarily relies on anticipating where his receivers will be without seeing them.

The idea of throwing blind like that freaks me out...but, then again, I'm no quarterback.

Throwing blind? Can you imagine this place when that eventually comes back to bite him?

Just another reason to take Stroud.

I like Stroud but would you rather have a QB that throws with anticipation or one that waits for receiver to flash open

That was considered to be one of Cam’s greatest weaknesses

Anticipation and Touch were never Cam's strengths, that's for sure.

Youngs size and arm are my worry, not his anticipation.

I like Stroud’s size and arm but not his processing/ anticipation.

I am only concerned with Bryce’s size. He has an NFL caliber arm, can make any throw outside of a 65 yard throw on a rope.

I would rather have a QB I don't have to worry about every time he gets tackled.

I want a QB that can complete 70% of his passes. I don't care how he does it.

I want a QB that if he doesn't make it to his second contract doesn't cost us all those resources.

I want Stroud. An honest to goodness stand in the pocket and carve you up QB.

Now Young has a strong arm. My god the legend grows every day.

    • I'm still not touching Hunter He again said the other day that he plans on playing both sides of the ball in the NFL.  If he is allowed to do that, he won't be as good on either side as his potential and he's going to have serious injury issues and have a short career.  If he's not allowed to do it, I think he's going to become a problem when the team isn't winning as he's going to feel him not being used on both sides of the ball is why. He's being coddled in that environment with Deion and I think it's doing a disservice to him to prepare him for life in the NFL where your coach isn't a 2nd father to you, to where you can just walk into his locker room and steal his shoes like Hunter does to Deion.
    • He’s a tad behind them. Around 15ish of 32 starters in the league. He’s well ahead of a lot of guys. Tua, Bryce, Cousins (present), Rodgers (current), Devito/Jones, Minshew, Russ (current), Watson, Smith, Carr, T Laws deep ball is weak as poo IMO, there’s plenty. And it’s not like everyone is ripping 60+ers. The key component is if you can rip and maintain velocity of the 30-40 yarders which he does super well. Legit every report out there from Brugler to PFF to PFN document him as good/above average arm strength.  Eye test tells me it’s pretty much that as well, slightly above average.
    • 6-10 carries for  35-45 yds and 3-5 catches for 15-25 would be great.
