ESPN’s Matt Miller: “There's a lot of like for C.J. Stroud there, but Bryce won the entire organization over.”

The more some of you post this just proves how uninformed and bias you are. But go ahead, rock out.

And the more some on here post

the more you can tell who watched the A22 and who watched some YouTube cutups.

Everybody on this board is biased in some way whether they wanna admit it or not lol but c’mon now, 3 of CJ’s O-linemen from this past season are probably gonna be too 100 picks (Johnson Jr, Jones, and Wypler). And we all know about the WR core being elite. There’s no bias in saying that.

Bryce’s supporting cast wasn’t pedestrian either but CJ’s was better this year.

Who gives a damn about where they are drafted. Bryce averaged almost 3 seconds of throwing time of his drop backs. We going off the tape right? Easier to process when nobody is getting anywhere near you. Alabama with no high draft picks is still significantly better then most teams in the conference. Thats always gonna be the case with Saban. Knock it off.

If you’re going off the tape then you’d see that a lot of the time Bryce created time for himself to throw because Bama’s line wasn’t as good as it typically is this year and he got pressured a lot more than he did in ‘21 and sure I’ll agree that some of the pressure is self generated but my point still stands. And let’s not act like talent on the O-Line doesn’t matter now. It’s not a knock that CJ’s line was more talented this year, it just is what it is and it’s something he benefitted from. Idk why you’re acting so mad about it lol.

You can’t be mad at other people for being “biased” when you clearly have biases yourself. Like I said, we all do.

Or we can take a guy thats known to fold under pressure. Or one that sucked last year but had nice 21 tape, or the other one that completed 55% of his passes this year.

Acting like one guys flaws are the only one that matters is bizarre.

Just like Young when he pretty much does the same thing when defenders come crashing through and in his face he throws constant incomplete passes. Both QB's would need some serious all out coaching to fix these issues and hopefully be corrected.

Fact still remains, he better prove to be way better than stroud or its gonna get ugly really fast. Stroud cannot show to adjust to the league faster than him or a lot of bullshit narratives are gonna go out the window. Thats just the truth.

Nah, if we pick him and he has a good and long career for us and wins a SB, then Stroud's success will be irrelevant to most of us.

He’s the best QB but he’s not the best prospect. Carter is a better prospect. Robinson is a better prospect. I’d argue Anderson is a better prospect than Young.

Just saying, the other day I looked at the first 8 search results for 2023 big boards and 5 of 8 had Young as the top overall prospect and the lowest he was ranked as a prospect was 4th with all of them having him as the #1 QB. You’re free to your opinion on whether he’s the top prospect, but there are many who have him ranked above Carter, Anderson, and Robinson.

How about we just agree to disagree? Like i said we gonna see when they both get to the league. And Im not upset for this, hell gonna laugh if this is a colossal mistake cuz its the panthers way and watch yall pile in here with the excuses. I made one post in this thread and triggered 5 people instantly so who really mad? Hell, i can keep doing it to the prove my point. Yall cant stand anybody being objective when it comes to the Bryce youngster. Clearly.

Young holds it too long at times trying to make something happen which will need to be corrected but he’s much more successful when pressure comes through than Stroud on film. Stroud also has a tendency to throw up some dicy passes when the pressure gets through that scare the hell out of me personally.

Yes they both have work to do but one is much more impressive on film to me than the other.

End of the day none of us are pro scouts though which is why I was going to accept whatever our FO wanted.

Well two things:

1. I’m not at all triggered by anything you said because it’s genuinely not that serious and I don’t know why you think people refuting/debating something you said = triggered. That’s a corny perspective.

2. I can’t speak for anybody else but I don’t mind people being objective about Bryce, because some of the concerns are real and I’ve at least acknowledged that. But I don’t see how you don’t understand that you’re doing something similar except with CJ. People defend the person they prefer, it’s okay lol.

But yeah we can just agree to disagree. Nobody will know who ends up being right until these guys take their first snaps in the league.

So, they're smart enough to walk away if Tepper is overstepping his bounds, but stupid enough to "overlook" the on-the-field concerns...where, you know, their very fates will be determined?

Makes perfect sense.

I’d say this is it all the way.  Everyone was acting like the Reich hiring was such a great move. I never quite saw it as that. These clowns are going to draft a player that won them over on personality off the field and that sounds like a Tepper move all day long.
