"Frederik Andersen is unavailable after tweaking something the other day."

And, before this latest development, he was suffering from an illness. At some point you have to ask yourself, is Frederik Andersen afraid to step on the ice when playoff time starts?

Gotta be honest, RBA sure didn't sound very confident yesterday. And I won't be the least bit surprised if they don't get out of the first round. The only part of this team that remains intact is the blue line. The lines are really a top line, Staal's checking line and two 4th lines with very little offensive firepower.

I'll be on the road today, headed down to the coast for the week, so I may stream the game while I'm driving, but that could result in self-induced road rage.

But, hey, I'm already looking forward to next season.

I’m wondering if there is internal drama with Freddie maybe not getting the first game start. He didn’t look happy that game and hasn’t been around since. We need Raanta for Tuesday. I know it sucks but I’d rather go Koch today if this is really a thing.

I’m not ready to concede this round even if they come back to Raleigh 2-2. Home stands are a thing with the Canes. Like someone here said, with so many injuries we’re playing with house money. Underdogs can win and when they do it’s fun stuff.

Go Csnes!

So that same friend that let me know the other night that stall was ok after being hurt has told me Freddie is indeed unhappy about not playing. It was explained to me that he is in Rods “doghouse” was the word.  I would expect this to be the last of Freddie in a canes uni unless raanta or Koochie get hurt.

    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
    • Did I miss something?  The people we have developing players now are not the ones we've had in the past so I don't know what the heck people are talking about when they say we are not good at developing players right now.  We only have one year to go on.  Canales likes young players or players who are on an upward trajectory, especially in FA this year.  Past QB's and what he's done with Bryce are good examples. Tershawn Wharton - 26 Tre'von Moehrig - 25 Pat Jones II - 26 Bobby Brown III - 24 Michael Jackson - 28 Jaycee Horn - 25 Tommy Tremble - 24 We missed on Milton Williams but he's 26. Everyone else we picked up are on 1 year deals.  The Panthers new front office and Canales absolutely scream developmental team. Pick 8 (stay) Tier 1 Elite - Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter and Mason Graham Tier 2 Elite - Jalon Walker, Mykel Williams, Will Johnson Trade down: There are quite a few really good players that fit us at Edge, DT, S and WR mid to late 1st and high 2nd.  Some combos that would be possible that I really like.  Imagine getting 2 of these guys by trading down. Stark, Pierce Jr, Golden, Scourton, Grant, Emmanwori, Ezeiruaku, Umanmielen, Deone Walker, Harmon and this is just off the top of my head.
