That Zavala guy is in a ton of mock drafts I see recently.

That's a pretty by the books one it's not bad. I just wish we had the opportunity to get a top tier offensive skill player to pair with Bryce in R2 or R3 but the way the boards predicted to fall in most mocks the best talent especially in R2 leans defensive.

I'd be okay with a defensive r2 pick but not if it's a CB or DT. You can't let fear of injury to our CBs again make you miss on better talent at other positions in R2 imo.

Yeah, I think the Zavala guy might be a bit inflated, but figured that maybe he has ties to Ekwonu and they know each other in terms of OL chemistry.

I think CB is not about fear of injury--I think we are dealing with an Achilles Injury to a starting CB and our backup CBs are on Mike Evans TD posters.

Josh Downs is the player nobody seems to be talking about, and he could be on the radar.  I also think a WR could drop, but not far.

Good point about R2 /3  They are very defensive.

The reason I took Sanders is because he is a natural pass rusher from inside or outside.  That versatility could be valuable.

The more I think about it, the more I would change the sixth overall pick from AR to Stroud.

Makes sense. The Titans already have a mini AR in Willis. If they trade up it’s for the more polished passer IMO. I like your mock though!

I knew this mock was flawed the minute the Packers took a 1st rd WR.

Can you show me a mock that is not flawed?  The Packers have had Favre and Rodgers forever--they make anybody look good.  Now they need to make Love's job easier.  Sterling Sharpe was in his fourth year when Favre took over and Jayvon Walker was in year 4  when Rodgers was drafted--both were first round picks---so they really have not needed a first round WR because the QB play was so good.

It was sarcasm. Even when they've needed serious WR help, they haven't done it. Don't be so serious.

Don't get uptight when people misinterpret your sarcasm.  It is all in the delivery. And I was talking football-not being "serious." No worries.

POST JETS / PACKERS TRADE

It is amazing to see how much a single trade shakes up the draft--no wonder nobody is right--predicting trades is impossible, but each one has a ripple effect.  If you think an NCAA bracket is difficult, predicting this draft is ridiculous.  I think Houston or Arizona are going to trade out, and that would make the rest "
