Most of this probably won’t happen.  I hate to be so negative but the Hornets are extremely conservative in their thinking and I really wonder how much they care at this point.  They have lazy thinking and a GM who thinks he is smarter than he actually is.  I will wait until I see something extraordinary happens cuz I am total convinced Lamelo is out first chance available and I don’t blame him one bit

LaMelo should be safe in the near future. He's not turning down his first big contract. As long as we keep his best friend Bridges around we should be ok.

 

Back to the draft this team desperately needs to land a top 3 pick. Either of the top 3 Wemby/Scoot/Miller can give this franchise a tremendous boost. We go from having 2 young building blocks to 3. This team can make a major jump if they get one of those guys.

 

I also wouldn't be shocked if they target Draymond Green in FA. Yeah it sounds crazy but he could have a huge impact on the culture. Dude talks a lot of trash but he knows how to play winning basketball.

 

Imagine adding either Wemby/Scoot/Miller along with Draymond in FA. We would probably win the offseason.

I haven’t seen a single report about them even considering a coaching change, much less actively interviewing coaches. Pretty sad.

Are we really gonna go with Steve Clifford for another season? There’s some quality coaches available, just praying this org gets off its ass.

Clifford did as well as anyone with what he had this year. Maybe the Hornets will have a new owner one day that will spend some money.
