They didn't ban you when Rhule was fired 😐

Matt Rhule was a bad coach.  He took a 5 win team and turned it into a 5 win team.  I have said this before over and over and I will say it again.  Matt Rhule was a bad coach.

You love his and Tepper's hand picked GM and have said so over and over.  The same one who traded DJ, CMC's second, a 2024 1st and a 2025 2nd for a #1 pick and it looks like he's not picking the QB you want.  I'm sorry about that.  I really am.

Hopefully we'll both be able to cheer together for whoever the new QB.  But is doesn't seem like you'll be letting go anytime soon.

Strengths:

Great arm strength

Quick release

Accurate thrower

Smart; protects the football

Good field vision

Extremely mobile with scrambling ability

Very intelligent

Proven leader; passion for the game

Winner at collegiate level

Experienced 3-year starter

Clutch performer who plays at his best in crunch time.

Weaknesses:
Height is a touch short
Could use some more bulk to handle hitting
Rarely played against a top defense
Did not play in a pro-stye offense
Rarely took snaps from under center

If you say this is Bryce Young you'd be close but not 100% correct this is actually RGIII report. But they are eerily similar and one could mistake it for Bryce's

Just something to think about..another question for those team Bryce why didn't he lead his team to at least the playoffs this past year?

Furthermore from Coach Reich's opening presser: "But if you've got a qb that can run and he's making the DE & LB hold his water it's going to give my guys more room on the Frontline BUT at some level even those guys, you have to have a guy who can win from the pocket"

In closing

Cant make it any clearer..Just have to trust the guys upstairs. I rest my case see yall April 27th. Keep pounding.

Once again, another bot take. You guys are making awful comparisons. RGIII never knew when to let a play die. Dude would literally eject himself by trying to somersault 250 lb linebackers.

Bryce is smarter than that. Take what the defense gives and protect yourself. Our staff knowing he's a bit undersized will harp on that.

I think you guys will try anything to disprove this guy, and frankly, that's what makes me the most optimistic about it. A lot of people doubted Cam. He went off for us. A lot of people were mad at the Luke pick, see how that worked out. It's a lock Bryce is our guy.

so it just was a total coincidence with rg3 was that his frame was a concern and they worried about his body holding up long term and lo and behold that came to fruition?

Weaknesses
  • RG3 has a slight size deficiency and could have some durability issues if he is hit enough times

One of the knocks you'll often read about Griffin is about his size — listed at 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds. That's a similar size to Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, but he doesn't take hits like Griffin does. Because of that, you'll always wonder about Griffin's long-term health.

  • Could use some more bulk to handle hitting

Every single excerpt you quoted mentions the concerns about his frame specifically with respect to taking hits lol not non-contact injuries. I’m guessing if a smaller player suffers a concussion in-game, you would attribute that to his frame too.

It’s ok guys, Stroud was 214.  Everyone knows 213lbs is the cut off.   213lbs or less and you have a small frame and you're likely to get injured.  214 to 225 or so and you're totally fine.  No concerns there.

There was this guy named Drew Brees who was 213 at the combine. i was working at Purdue when he was there and watched a lot of his games live. too bad he got hurt and ended his career early. he showed such promise.

This is one of the most inaccurate posts I’ve ever seen on the huddle.

it's an act of total desperation.

he's screaming out into the universe "I don't want anyone but CJ STROUD!!!!!!!"

so far it's been humorous, but it's starting to become less so, esp. with this OP. I've (and the other mods) been trying to keep him around through the draft just for the entertainment, but it's starting to just get sad. i almost feel like the humane thing (mainly for us) to do is to just go ahead and get rid of him.
