He's been the projected #1 pick since last year.

Do some of you guys just don't watch football?

This guy was elite from day 1. Was the #1 rated QB coming out of high school as well. His talent can't be questioned.

Kyler Murray can play in this league so can this kid. Stop writing this dude off because of his size. I swear some of you dudes are going to jump on the bandwagon when he starts throwing TD's and winning games. I can't wait to see the change of opinions on him.

If we draft him and he does well, I feel bad for the miserable souls who wouldn’t enjoy that. Same goes for Stroud.

However you know it will happen, as we have experience over the past decade of fans not enjoying the Cam ride, and hating him the whole time.

The only issue is Kyler Murray can’t complete a full season. I think he is more reckless with the hits he takes tough. Russ is basically his size with a few extra pounds and has been very healthy.

russ has to diet to play below 225, little different body type.

I have been a Stroud guy during most of this process, but the thing that changed my mind on Young was this: my son is a smaller QB for his age, and I want him to have a role model who wears a Panthers jersey. Bryce seems like a good one to pattern your game after as a QB who is smaller in stature. I would still be excited about CJ, but the father in me wants Bryce.

This dude is him!

Steph Curry vibes. He's going to pave the way for 5'10 180 pound QB's.

Jump on the bandwagon before it's too late.

The NFL needs him to succeed. Steph changed basketball from a tall person's game to an any person's game--that's huge for marketability and significantly expands your future player pool.

Bryce can be the same for the NFL, especially in an era of youth football numbers declining, more people worried about life-changing injuries, player retiring in their 20s and early 30s. They will probably institute rule changes over time to support him to--just like the NBA basically did for Steph (even though they'll never admit as much).

    • He can say what he feels, but he's not saying "the previous year, the team wasn't very good" he directly called his teammates out and in a way that is flat-out not true. "You are your record"? Oh ok, he's only had 3 winning seasons, but in my mind he isn't a loser, and I bet he isn't in his either - cause football is a team sport and wins and losses are on the team, even when one really bad player (Jimminy Pickles) can basically screw over everything.  And this comes on the heels of his thing about the MVP, which is fine, but also selfish. His teammates consistently went to bat for him... Just feels like he's more about himself.
    • Good point--I think this draft is great for us at this time--At the top of the draft, the DT (DEs/NTs in 3-4) are loaded.  The Edges are deep.  We need to double dip there--hoping to move back so we can add three players to that pool.  In free agency, if I were Morgan, I would focus on DBs and  ILB--fix the back end of the defense.  If he signed a S, CB, ILB, and TE, it would be cost effective.  In the draft, DE, Edge, and WR should be the priorities.  After that, OL Depth, QB depth, DB depth, RB depth.  My Free agent Targets:  TE: Juwan Johnson, Saints.  29, had over 500 yards with Saints. S: Julian Blackmon, Colts.  He will be one of the top free agents--gonna cost us, but not like an edge or WR. ILB: Tyrel Dodson, Dolphins.  80 tackles on just 854 snaps--under 27 years of age. CB: Mike Jackson, Carolina.  He is 28 and had 3 picks and was on the field at all times.  68 PFF score. NT:  best available for Evero's system.
