Oh boy that was close. I was starting to see short people everywhere I looked. I can feel the Force gaining strength. There's a bad wind a comin, mark my words.

In the early stages it was me and Ivory Panther calling for Young, against like 80 percent of this site. Constantly got crap from Stroud dudes. Then it seems like there are nuts from both parties making their way out of the woodwork.

In short order, this place went from toxic, to insufferable. At least a lot more of the post are humorous nowadays. I like funny

I'm fine with Young if he's the pick, but I think this stuff has gotten pretty stupid. Too many people are posting moronic sh-t just for the sake of being assholes.

I might need to take some time away from here for a bit.

Some of these same folks will get missing if the team faces some adversity. They are not worth the energy.

More like 9 more days until the trolling REALLY ramps up.

At that point ignoring the trolling is easier then the “they will  do this or that trolling”.. We will have made the choice and ppl can eat their feelings and move on..

    • The Athletic FS had a Panthers fan write in about Mykel vs Jalon. Derrick K was surprisingly in favor of Mykel but gave a pretty compelling argument. You’re getting a baseline great run defender with some nice pass rush potential. You’re not getting the hyper athletic, violent, burst off the snap type, but he’s a grinder who can maintain a great level of play throughout a game. He’s the ideal type to eventually have paired with the more peppy/athletic edge rusher. No one says to avoid a 1B just because you don’t have or can’t find a 1A. And who knows, he could still become a double digit sack guy. 86” wingspan is monster. With Jalon, you’re using him as an EDGE. So you’re banking him fitting a super rare spot, that only Parsons has really followed through at. Myles Jack and others just didn’t work out as well. They mentioned you may just be getting a shorter Luvu-plus rather than a Parsons-lite.  Mykel at 8 will not surprise me in the least, and it could be a solid move.
    • I thought you said he never made use of a TE in his systems before... seems like from your post that he did. Just sayin'...
    • Oh, I'm not giving up on him, and I hope he grows and grows into a great TE, but he is far from dominant on the field right now. Pair him up with another young, but dominant TE and it opens a world of opportunities for our offense, both in the passing and rushing game. We would move more into the dictating our game to the other team than having their defense ram what they wanted to down our throats. We need hitters on offense. We need multi-role guys on the field. And we need some punch in the now before Thielen finally gets caught by Father Time.
