Hypothetical scenario (that's still possible)

In the hypothetical world where Houston calls us and does want to get to 1, what's your options? I know I've seen pick number 12 but I would rather have their 1st next year. I think Houston will be picking again in the top 5 and that could very well give us Stroud and Harrison!  I like all 3 QBs but just getting away from the back n forth. Draft Day Blockbuster, Cardinals trade up to #1, take Young and trade Murray to another team.  Houston takes Stroud, and Carolina grabs Richardson and picks from the cardinals.

I wouldnt be mad at that scenario, as long as we got the right compensation!!

Give me 2 and 12 all day. Stroud and JSN paired up again.

Those 2 would be good too!! I just know that Harrisons upside is out of this world! JSN is definitely a guy that will shine in the league tho. He has an uncanny way of working the middle of the field to get open.

If Houston gives us that 12th pick and maybe a 2nd or 3rd round pick would be interesting.

2. QB maybe Richardson? Whoever is left from the coin flip decision between Young and Stround?

12. This is new. Who here? Top Tier stuff.  Without the restriction of having to take QB like the last pick.  now we can go BPA in the top 15.

39. The debate goes on. The addition of the 12th makes this a great situation. Where we can BPA again or go need.

Flexibility could be the mark of this draft.

There’s absolutely no world in which Houston gives up #2 and #12 to move up one spot. This is simply not based in reality lol

This 💯 the best we could hope for is their top pick in the 2nd and an additional pick or two in this years draft and/or the next. Texans not parting with #12.

Texans give up No. 2, No. 12, Derek Stingley JR, or Browns 2024 1st draft pick that they own.

I don't see the Texans giving up multiple draft picks to move up to 1. I see them taking Will Anderson and taking their chances with next year's group of QBs if they aren't sold on Stroud, Levis, or Richardson.

If they thought young was a mahomes level talent they would

Some people consider Young a generational talent. If the Texans are close to that opinion, they will give up 12. Then again, if the Panthers think that, they aren’t dropping from 1.

    • The other draft picks have turned out pretty well. Brooks will too.
    • I'm still not touching Hunter He again said the other day that he plans on playing both sides of the ball in the NFL.  If he is allowed to do that, he won't be as good on either side as his potential and he's going to have serious injury issues and have a short career.  If he's not allowed to do it, I think he's going to become a problem when the team isn't winning as he's going to feel him not being used on both sides of the ball is why. He's being coddled in that environment with Deion and I think it's doing a disservice to him to prepare him for life in the NFL where your coach isn't a 2nd father to you, to where you can just walk into his locker room and steal his shoes like Hunter does to Deion.
    • He’s a tad behind them. Around 15ish of 32 starters in the league. He’s well ahead of a lot of guys. Tua, Bryce, Cousins (present), Rodgers (current), Devito/Jones, Minshew, Russ (current), Watson, Smith, Carr, T Laws deep ball is weak as poo IMO, there’s plenty. And it’s not like everyone is ripping 60+ers. The key component is if you can rip and maintain velocity of the 30-40 yarders which he does super well. Legit every report out there from Brugler to PFF to PFN document him as good/above average arm strength.  Eye test tells me it’s pretty much that as well, slightly above average.
