Chris Harris - We Really Brought It Against the Bucs

Defensively, I felt that this was one of our better games. They had some good numbers, but, in my opinion, stats don't win games, points do. The key for us was to not let them score in the red zone. And because we succeeded in doing that, we were able to keep them scoring a bunch of threes, instead of sixes.

I just hope they can do this against teams the Patriots, Vikings, Giants and Saints. You can call it an effective use of a "bend-but-don't-break" defense, but if it were any other team playing us we would have probably been hard-pressed to win the game.

Not impossible to do, but it would take the team playing with full concentration to do so. But, playing against such high caliber teams, doesn't every team have to be fully concentrated?

2nd 5 INT game of the season

I think we will frustrate Brady in the first half more than the second half because we have a new scheme and new faces since the last time we played(2005). Key is adjustments in second half though. We cant let them adjust well and score like Brees did. Brady and their offense works the best when he can heave it deep to Moss... but our defense is designed to stop that

I think Martin should move back to S. He's more trustworthy honestly

Our D would probably be really rolling right now if we had Maake and Davis in there.

Really, I hope I get to see what Meeks can do in 1 more season. I think he will, as I don't think we will have a regime change here in the offseason. Richardson doesn't seem like one to cast away Fox.

That being said, when Damoine Lewis said that this D "could become something special" before week 1 I didn't buy it, but now I see how the pieces could come together. It will just take time.

I'm proud of the way Matt Moore played - he really stepped in and did a killer job. He made some great passes, protected the football, and gave us a level of leadership that kept our intensity pumpin' at a ridiculous degree. Way to go, man.

^^^ Speaks volumes IMO
