AP Mock Draft....who goes #1

The first edition of the AP’s 2023 mock draft says it’ll be Stroud.

 

1. Carolina Panthers (from Chicago): C.J. STROUD, QUARTERBACK, OHIO STATE

 

Stroud’s size — 6-foot-3, 214 pounds — gives him an edge over Young — 5-foot-10, 204. Stroud has a strong, accurate arm and possesses the leadership ability and other intangibles that Reich values.

I like this angle..

It brings a different perspective from the other 5 billion mocks out there.

Definitely has me convinced that we will all find out on April 27th at around 8pm est.

It's not going to happen, but I wouldn't be upset either way. There are three quarterbacks who deserve to go #1 overall.

Im curious to know where everybody hard stance is coming from now, Stroud hasnt even had his visit yet and there are constant reports stating that they havent even all sat down and discussed a decision yet. Especially if its truth that Young is not even Reichs choice, everybody can make opinions all they want in the media and other team reps. I think this is too close to not wait until we here from the team directly.
