Bah... was thinking of starting a thread about Byrd after the Theilen and Chark signing. 

Good signing. The Wr FA was not great, actually it was very poor, but Byrd made sense. 

He is  certainly not big. But can line up on the outside which was a big need for the WR position.

To many slot guys on the roster, which limited how some players could be used. Marshall is an example, should be given more opportunity as a slot, but was "forced" to play outside because no one else could do it last season.

And this signing do not mean a WR should not be drafted. It just sets up the team to truly draft BPA.

Nice! Great to see he's been able to stay on active squads since he left.  Not expecting anything much but a good baseline WR to have as depth if he makes the 53.

about the same, little slower, but better routes.....typical aged jaggy player.

 

My view is him at KR or PK...oooo and he lit up the pantgghers either last yr or the year before. 

 

Hes still a solid 5 type of option.
