As much as I would love to see the Panthers win out and make it to the playoffs, it's not gonna happen. I agree that we should be in all the rest of our games, but winning them all is not going to happen. If we're lucky, we'll win two. We have the toughest remaining schedule in the NFL.

Technically Green Bay can lose three out of the last five as long as one of those losses is against the Cardinals, and assuming the Panthers win out. I believe this would leave them with the same percentage within the conference, and the Panthers would have the tiebreaker based on the head-head against common oppenents, because the Panthers would have also beat Minnesota which Greenbay lost to twice.

Cowboys hold the tiebreaker over us, so they would have to lose to every team they play, including losing to the Redskins. Now if they lost to the Redskins, then there season is done. Cowboys schedule looks like this

Chargers-Loss

Saints-Loss

Redskins-Win/Loss

Eagles-Loss

The Cowboys are playing the Skins in December so you never know what could happen.

Keep in mind we might see Matt Moore for the rest of the season. I'm not convinced that is going to hurt our chances. I really feel optimistic if they can keep the turnover ratio in our favor. The Panthers have the most turnovers in the league and that is the biggest reason they are in the hole they are in.

We can still make it with GB winning. Just shift them to win their games, and Dallas to tank, or Philly and the Giants to tank. But it's all moot unless we win out. Which...is next to impossible with our current line-up.
