The Panthers don't give a shat what sports writers have to say. They have to write something for the next seventeen or so days before the draft to earn a living.

I'm sure the team knows exactly all they need to know about player X by now. They certainly don't give a rats ass what other teams may do sitting at #1... unless they plan to trade down (which I doubt),

I dont know who the pick will be but still want Stroud due to accuracy and NFL size.  But seeing an article from an unemployed former talking head and giving his take from his basement podcast, makes me take this much less seriously.

I think it’s natural for us to read opinions on this and perhaps some of us have different opinions. A single parent with integrity and positive character traits can do wonders. There are many success stories across the NFL that are wonderful success stories. (From single parent homes) There are some “Ozzie and Harriet” families in our world today, but there are some 2 parent homes that fail their children as well.

Unless you can demonstrate clear causation for success in the NFL and two parent household QBs this is bs. I would put some value in looking into who a player assimilates with as friends. For instance, if a players 3 closest friends are terrible human beings, then that would be a huge red flag. People tend to associate with other people who are like themselves.
