More Smoke? Adam Schefter: CAR traded for Young, then checked other QBs. They did not bridge gap.

And how many times have these same people been wrong about the best QB in a draft? Many, that’s how many. I’m still not in the trust Reich club yet. He’s done nothing to deserve that trust yet.

My point is it’s not some colossal mistake, it’s backed by film and analytics that the professionals use. I trust Reich’s opinion over people on a random message board.

That’s nice and I’m happy for you.  These same people you trust make bad decisions often about players. Young is a midget and it will prove to be a mistake. He’s certainly a smart player, but he’s simply small and no one can correct that.

This is no smokescreen. I think they were sincere about wanting the fans at the draft party to know who was on the way so they wouldn’t have a mixed reaction to it. I think it’s also a nice little get back at Houston for how they played it with Watson. Texans will say Stroud was their guy at 1 and they should, but bell to bell this year it was Young.

This will be a disaster if true. A tiny QB with a mediocre, at best, arm. Great kid. Great attitude. Quick brain. He will have a much smaller margin of error than he had in college. The results will reflect that. His lack of athleticism, arm strength, size, and inability to play from under center will not be overcome by processing speed, brain power, and/or attitude.

If drafted by the Panthers, I hope that I am wrong. I do not think I will be though. I hope that this is part of a smokescreen. It’s getting a tad bit harder to believe that though as the draft gets closer.

Texans will get the last laugh.

The was article on NFL.com where they plugged Young’s intangibles into a model… not hight or weight but his playing intangibles and there was zero QB who made it in NFL with his playing style.  The model predicted he needs an amazing supporting cast to succeed in NFL.  I posted that article weeks ago and got there responses from Young supporters.

Man some people on here sound legit angry that it might be Bryce lol. I get that he might not be your first choice and the height/weight criticisms are valid but some of the vitriol is insane to me.

Any of these guys could bust, and any of them could be superstars. We just gotta hope that the guy we choose is a superstar.
