Hey CJ we talked to Bryce and he told us he’s willing to help you out with the low S2 score brah

You might want to have a listen about that test that you are degrading Stroud on that test from a post Dilla made in the thread "Did the S2 test take CJ out". For one he did not have a low score either.

I'm more concerned about him seeing the field and his receivers seeing him. He's not going to be able to maneuver the pocket like he did in college.  He's going to get a lot of passes tipped or knocked down at the line and he will not be able to hold the ball as long as he did in college.

I respectfully disagree.  Why don't you think his escapability will translate?  It isn't as if there aren't several QBs now who excel at extending plays inside and outside of the pocket.  He's very, very quick/twitchy and while everyone is pointing out the downsides of being smaller in stature, a big upside is that he will be harder for defenders to get a hold on and legally make contact with.  Even if he has a bad rookie year, I expect him to be one of the best at escaping pressure.

I think he can escape pretty good. My concern is if he will escape and pass or escape and run around for a long time like he did in college. I don’t think that would work.

Will I wholeheartedly support Young if we draft him?  Absolutely.  Do I think he will be a bust in the NFL?  Absolutely.  Unless he proves it to me otherwise.  The fact no player in NFL history succeeded with his intangibles is concerning and merits doubt.

I felt the same way until this week, when I started accepting what the experts are projecting with our 1st pick. Bryce looks like the guy.

I spent a lot of time researching him this week. Despite the size limitations I came away impressed. Found a pass that went 65 to 66 yards in the air. I also saw how he uses his small frame to avoid hits and get down. He reminds me of Warrick Dunn, in that regard.

Give him a chance bro, I think he’s coming to Charlotte whether we like it or not. I was impressed and I think he’s the best QB in the draft. Here’s to hoping that translates.
