Drew Sanders vs Jack Campbell ??

They're both good looking prospects IMO. I think Sanders has more positional versatility. I think he can play off the ball or rush off the edge. Campbell seems more like a classic off the ball LB, just jumbo sized.

Given that, I'd take Sanders between the two but I think Campbell is gonna be a good pro and it wouldn't shock me if he ends up being the better of the two.

Drew Sanders. Dude is a beast, fast, high motor and can play edge. But need to improve his tackle.

In contrast not a fans of Jack Campbell. Watch his tape (not highlight) and he is slow, out of position all the time, can't drop back cover and moving slow sideline to sideline. Not sure why everyone is high on him.

Neither with our 2nd rd pick.

We need to get the rookie a weapon he can grow with either at WR or TE.

If Zay Flowers is on the board he has to be the pick. Or Kincaid at TE.

No brainer on Zay, if he is there at 39. It’s a pipe dream though. Wouldn’t mind moving up a few to grab him. Pretty sure he’s gone by pick 25.

Between the two linebackers. Give me Sanders in the 2nd. Gigantic nose for the ball, will find a lane in a phone booth. Very instinctive, and agile to fight off blockers for his size.

I love Drew Sanders. I feel like he can be a dominant edge rusher really early.

If we were still 4-3 Campbell would be perfect to step in as the MLB, in the 3-4 Sanders is more versatile as an edge rusher/ILB combo. Imagine swapping Sanders and Luvu back and forth from OLB/ILB depending on the down. Both could stay on the field and drive OC/Qb's crazy

Bumper Pool made Drew Sanders. Sanders was converted to LB this past year and Pool would make the calls and cover up for Sanders on all of his blitzes. You can see Pool in many of Sanders highlights on the play or coming in to clean up the play. Sanders is athletic and needed to leave Alabama to raise his draft stock, but Bumper Pool is the real value at LB from Arkansas.

As for Sanders v Campbell, there is no doubt Campbell is ready to play LB at the NFL level and Sanders is not.

Was not impressed with Drew Sanders. Thought he missed a lot of tackles and got dragged a lot when trying to wrap up.

I like Jack Campbell based on measurables alone. He looked good in the Iowa defense.

I prefer Ivan Pace Jr over both of them tho! 😮

I’m sorry dude but just no, Sanders and Campbell clear Pace by a mile. There’s a reason you haven’t heard a single person mention Pace anywhere close to where Sanders and Campbell are. He is 5 ft 10 with below average wingspan, the partial edge role he played in college is not gonna be there in the NFL. Compare that to much bigger frame and more functional athleticism of Sanders and Campbell, no debate here talent evaluators across the league have spoken.

To avoid the typical Young/Stroud debate route where I point at the difference on the game tape and you point at the difference on the measuring tape, I'll just say that I think he'd fit the Ted LB role in the 3-4 very well and that would also protect any concerns over length + speed. He has the strength and intelligence to thrive in the role and be an outstanding on ST.

But if we are talking about who has the best film of the 3, it isn't even close: it's Pace.

Given just Sanders or Campbell tho: Campbell

Also I wouldn't sleep on Henry To'o To'o.

Or Sewell and Simpson on the inside.

If we want an OLB or ILB one will be there @ 39 but I get the feeling offensive skill position will be the pick.

Sanders will probably be first off the board with Campbell close behind or vice versa.

If I'm looking for an OLB in 3-4:

IF that's the move at 39, I'm looking for Will McDonald or Nolan Smith. Smith might slide because he's kinda small but he's so athletic he could probably line up anywhere and be productive.

Will McDonald paired with Burns though...smdh. That could be nightmare. The run might suffer as he grows but imo he's a special talent. If he has any type of work ethic for his craft, that man will be a dominant force ... I'd bet the house on that.
