He’s not and never has been a good NFL head coach. He’s just a good guy. As the tweet points out, he’s coached for like 12-15 seasons now and only has three years above .500. That’s really really terrible.

I'm pretty annoyed with the media types complaining that people aren't signing/trading for lamar.

I mean he is obviously talented but you are betting huge amounts of draft capital AND a quarter of your salary cap long term for a player that has missed a lot of games the last two years.  Arguably, you may have to design a different offense around his strengths too.

It's not these media guys job to decide how teams should run.  If Lombardi were a good gm, he would still have that position.

Also imagine a 21 year old Cam Newton coming out of Auburn in the 2023 NFL Draft. Prime Cam would dominate the modern day NFL.
