Can't stand WWE. Big AEW/ROH guy though. Won't be watching tonight but I follow the WWE storylines. Cody will definitely win, and the Usos will definitely lose. The rest of the card is beyond boring. Just a bunch of thrown together BS in the last month stuff.

The big storyline have been building all year. Sami Zayn againt the Bloodline has been the best story in decades. Charlotte Flair against Rhea Ripley was the match of the night.

Edge’s entrance to Slayer…one of the best ever. I was hoping Cody would win but figured he would not especially if Vince is back calling the shots. Vince pushed Roman for the past several years.

I see your point. However it’s makes no since to put the belt on Cody after just 1 year. Hell it took Roman 4 years to finally beat Broke and get it.  We don’t have to wait till 2024 but the story telling is designed to make Cody the underdog. Keep beating his ass. Each week. Each PPV until summer slam. As a fan for the last 30 years, they are going to build Cody like they built Roman but as a baby face. They can then have they next “guys”. The only true headliners they have are Roman and maybe Lesner. They build Cody correctly, like they are doing, they will have their next Cena rock punk or Austin.

they're always trying to recapture impossible Daniel Bryan magic with these underdogs and forget that people also like it when good guys win.

Cody shouldn't be presented as an underdog imo, that's the wrong way to go with him. he's not an underdog, he's a nepo baby millionaire with a hot wife and loads of pyro. he's ostentatious and it conflicts with the underdog thing.

True. Take away the underdog part though. They are trying to build him as the next big thing. I like what they are doing. They put the belt on Rhonda rousey after 6 months and it backfired.

I think HHH would put the belt on Cody but with Vince back in the power position I’m not so sure. Vince loves to bury guys from other companies. He put Dusty in polka dots.

Worst thing that could happen to WWE was Vince coming back. And it has been a trainwreck since he did. Wow.

AEW gets another shot at pushing their way to the top. Good luck to them!

    • LeBron not getting enough attention he had to announce to the world he's leaving social media for the time being lol   This man about to be 40. This is kid like behavior and I'm a fan of LeBron. Cmon bro do better.
    • Does anyone else see this as the beginning of the end of Freddie Andersen? It started as a day-to-day. Escalated to week-to-week: Brind'Amour announced that Andersen was considered week-to-week with the injury. He said, "That's a little more time than I was hoping, but hopefully we'll get an update every week". Next: Brind'Amour later said that Andersen's injury would be "way longer" than expected. Now: https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/toronto-maple-leafs/latest-news/report-former-maple-leafs-goaltender-frederik-andersen-shut-down-by-hurricanes-to-miss-roughly-8-weeks-following-knee-surgery According to TSN's Pierre LeBrun, Andersen is set to undergo surgery that will keep him out of the team's lineup for "roughly" eight weeks. Who here believes the Canes will roll with Kochetkov and Martin without making a move?
    • Meniscus maybe? I can't see it being ligaments or he would be done for the year.
