not a good look to lose like that in the last minute.

Detroit always plays us tough and isn't a bad team, but my goodness we have been out shooting the entire NHL for years and still score less GPG than half of the teams.   There's something to be said about quality over quantity.

SMH tonight.....

Rod does this seemingly on the reg but I can't say it's like something that only he does.  Shifting with 15-20 seconds left in your own offensive zone is ridiculous to me. I don't care how long anyone's shift has been--the prospect of keeping possession as long as possible and not shifting while you have the puck in your offensive zone to me is much more of a safeguard against what happened last night then giving up possession and getting fresh legs.  We got destroyed by that last night and it was brutal.

Canes have been caught on the shift way too many times this season, Roddy doesn’t seem to learn from mistakes. Hate to say that but appears to be true.

    • That’s a book of the great life that the Panthers have had. So great to look back on the great players and seasons that we have had. But I think the book could have been twice the size. We have had a good 30 years, up and down the standings. i know we are in a bad spot right now, but hopefully before long we will be climbing back towards that Super Bowl championship
    • LmAO ..it does not make any sense whatsoever why a team that is currently 2-0 would  trade their backup Qb to a team that is 0-2 & in the same NFC conference ? & what is Seattle going to do if Geno Smith is injured ? wouldn't a team that is  currently 2-0 & is quiet  possibly going to the playoffs  want a decent plan B that already knows how to operate their system & has some form of chemistry with their players  , like I said before this is the NFL &teams especially ones like Seattle  are NOT going to trade their backup Qb 2 games into the regular season...just saying
    • Yeah, I can see that happening, but my only thing is, whoever he goes to, it's going to be a bad team. Not a whole lot of difference between us and say Denver, Jax, the Giants or the Colts. Of course, we're probably worse, but not by that much. Manning would have to pick his poison.
