I might be in the minority, but I don't want a LB with a pick in the first four rounds. Shaq is here for at least another year. We've got Luvu and Chinn...plus I think Brandon Smith is a future baller at ILB. I'd like to let this staff work with Smith for a year before we plunk down top-100 draft picks on a backer. 

Question marks about whether Chinn can make a full TD conversion to LB as well.

The fact we met with JuJu Brents and Mingo makes me really excited. Both some of my favorite CB and WR targets alongside Deonte Banks and Tyler Scott respectively.

Those are two guys I’ve looked at and wondered why they aren’t deemed higher picks. Maybe the FO wants to find out something similar and if they’re truly promising targets

Yeah if Mingo can turn into AJ Brown on our third pick that would be incredible. I doubt he actually falls as far as the sims have him now though.

      I loved this draft. I think we have 3 starters out our first three picks. Maybe they take a year to develop but I don’t see them taking long.    I think Etiene is going to be a good back up. He’s only 20 so he has a lot to improve on.  I think we will see him be used on special teams this year. He won’t get many reps unless an injury happens because we got two 1,000 yard rb in front of him. I could see Ransom starting but I think he will probably be a back up, maybe playing special teams? I think hes probably got the lowest ceiling of all our drafted players. Cam Jackson will be a back up, probably not a lot of snaps this year. Could end up being a solid player for us.   I love the Mitchell Evans pick. He’s got potential to be our top TE. He had two different injuries that set him back in college but I think if he was healthy he would have been one of the top TE in the draft. I have even more faith in him because ND makes great tight ends. I don’t know if he will play much this year unless an injury happens though. Probably just a blocking TE this year.

      Tet isn't Evens. He isn't as quick or uses his body as well, something Evans was known for in school. Tet catches well but he won't be the threat Evans is unfortunately IMO. It was like drafting Bryce and thinking your getting Wilson. Evans ran a 4.53 40, 7.08 3 cone, 4.26 shuttle and at the combine and not his proday. He was also 12 lbs heavier. If your expecting Evans your going to be disapointed unless you give Tet a bit of a discount on expectations IMO. Lol now it's saying they had Tet as a 4.48 at his proday when people were reporting 4.6+ at that time. It's going to be interesting to see what is real and what is BS. Proday numbers are so rounded in positive directions.
