Or now maybe they are at the same level, or maybe he is still behind Stroud but the gap is closer, or he was way ahead and is now miles ahead, or…

C'mon let me take 1 out of context comment and completely change my take on who the pick is until someone says something positive about Stroud tomorrow and I flip flop back to him.

Heard Fitt's interview yesterday on Moving the Chains on Sirius.  He seemed to be gushing about Reich and the staff.  Spoke about what a great person Reich is and a well respected football coach......"a good football guys."  He said those qualities were why he was able to get the staff he did. Said he was able to "bring in the right people."  Interviewers mentioned how impressive it was to get Jim Caldwell.

Fitt said that Reich is "brutally honest but does it in the right way."

Also said the Teppers were excited about the staff ...."This is a chance for us to change the direction of our franchise."

Fitt really sounded happy and optimistic. He sounded relaxed. I bet the last 2 years were hell for him.

You reminded me of this...

When he's talking about how some other coaches "just want want want", you can see a small grin form on his face and hear a little chuckle in his voice.

The reporters know who he's talking about, and he knows that they know who he's talking about.

It's a very "inside joke" type moment.

The Bryce Young alts aren't the brightest bulbs and are unfortunately doing the guy a disservice. Hopefully Panther fans aren't so put off by them they hold it against him. It's not his fault.

If Stroud means the Young alts leave then I am definitely leaning Stroud!

“It’s fun because you start to bond over this. You’re away from the office. You’re having dinner. The player leaves. You sit there another hour and discuss,” Fitterer said. “There’s a camaraderie that’s being built, as well as trying to find a quarterback.”

Person mentions in another part of the article that this trip was an opportunity to build camaraderie between Fitterer / the scouts and Reich / the coaching staff.

I actually really like this. As a guy that works in teams at work, having time away from work, going to conferences together is a great way to bond and build relationships. If anything it teaches you to trust your coworkers as you all pull towards a common goal.

I hope that this is the start of something special that we are building here.
