I wasn't really a fan of this WR class, but after multiple people kept mentioning Zay Flowers I decided to watch his highlights and all I kept thinking was prime Antonio Brown. This dude is blessed with phenomenal footwork his ability to stop on a dime and make people miss is insane. Im sorry but if this dude is on the board at #39 he should absolutely be the pick. He might very well be the best WR in this draft. Put this guy in the slot and watch him work with the rookie QB. Im on the Zay Flowers bandwagon.

Thoughts on Zay Flowers at pick #39?

I'd like to have a linebacker or Darnell Washington, personally. I'd like Nick Hampton from App State as a pass rusher for Ejiro and Capers in the 4th if he's there. Freak length and nearly the same measurable as Will Anderson.

I agree Nick Hampton would be a great Day 3 selection.

This is the guy I want us to trade back up into the 1st round to get. It'd be well worth it to give up our 2nd and 3rd (and even a later round pick) to move up and get him. He's going to be a stud.

I'd rather move up and get 3 starters total than draft all 6 spots to have a couple projects. We still have projects that don't know what they're doing thanks to Rhule

This ^^

Love Flowers but he’s a luxury pick at this point and trading up gets us out of the young pass rusher and probably 3rd round cb market…

He's not a luxury. Neither Theilen or Chark are long term options at WR. Chark could walk after next season. That leaves us weak at WR again.

Yea he’d be a great pick for us but I think he’ll be gone mid first when it’s all said and done. If he’s there at 32 or 31 and we can swing a trade up that’s not too expensive I’d be on board. If it was between him or Kincaid/Mayers I’d probably take the TE though.

I wouldn't take him in the first at all. The only way he might is because the position as a whole is a little weak this year and that may cause some overvaluation.

I can't see passing on Kincaid or Myers if they are there. I just can't see it. I also am loathe to spend any more draft capital. I like Flowers, but he's too small for me to be losing draft capital.

There are other receivers who should be available later in the draft who may end up offering more.

Wouldn't be mad at double dipping in the first, Zay or J

Josh McCown compared Stroud to Burrow. I don't see any way that we don't take Stroud unless Tepper wants his own personal pet project in Young.

I'd agree about getting Jaxon but wouldn't that require trading Horn, Chinn, or Burns? No one is trading out of the first unless we give up a player.
