We drafted one of the biggest quarterbacks ever and he was out of the league after 7 years because of a litany of injuries

Meanwhile Drew Brees played 20 seasons

Brees is an overrated stat padder. Gifted one Super Bowl win. What else after? Even inaccurate career 59% completion percentage Cam Newton gave Brees teams all they could handle for those years. Stop comparing our possible future QB to that douche to make yourself feel better about his frame.

I merely pointed out that size/height has no factor with quarterback injuries, not anything about Drew Brees' super bowl wins or Cam's accuracy

If it has no factor in injuries why are the only outliers folks have to fall back on in the last 40 years Brees Wilson and Flutie?

Brady is the absolute goat. Mahomes is not that. Mahomes is an incredible player and could pass Brady one day.

But no, he’s not anywhere near the goat status or Tom Brady at this point. And he’s my favorite player in the NFL so I’m not knocking him. But it’s absurd to say he’s better than Brady.

Good luck with that

Not really

Doing it constantly for years on end it would take a serious toll, but not a one time thing.

You don't have any idea what you are talking about do you?

It's called water poisoning or hyperhydration and absolutely be dangerous to fatal doing it one time.

https://www.healthline.com/health/how-much-water-can-kill-you

"The kidneys of a healthy adult can flush out 20 to 28 L of water each day, but they can only get rid of about 1 L each hour. This makes it hard for your kidneys to keep up when you drink more than 1 L per hour."

This is true. A radio station had a water chugging contest for some prize long time ago. I don't remember where the station was or anything, but anyways some chick drank gallons and gallons of water and ended up in the hospital. Can't remember if she died or not, but the station got sued.

Edit-Quck google search found the answers. She died.

highest completion % right? and with worse receivers that is rather impressive on Young's part.

Stroud had a higher completion percentage each year.

Young was 7th in the SEC in completion percentage.  Hooker lead the conference. Even Levis was higher.

Exactly, has anyone actually made comparisons statistically?   Most injuries seem to be flukes.  Is it actually statistically more likely for a lighter qb to get injured more often than a heavier one?
