Interesting Opinion / Analysis of Frank's Offense and QB personnel

Saw Scott Bolander's post on the Panthers subreddit sharing an hour-plus long deep dive on Reich's offense and lost the thread + video, so I'm amped that 4MR got with him to dive in further.

Loved hearing that Reich will never embarass a player. After the last two HCs, can't help but wonder how grateful guys will be to not have to worry about their coach dragging them whenever they speak to the press.

Yeah saw this back when it originally came out

Absolutely terrific stuff that Colts fan is brilliant.
A must watch for anyone here who hasn’t seen this

Going by what he said about QB - we’re drafting Stroud 100%

I can see how you would ASSUME that.

Strong Arm....Reich backed big guys when he played, he's QBs in Indy....

but...Looks at his first read and takes off(damn AR) Reich is not going like that. But a QB who solves his problems in the pocket...which gets us back to Young and CJ.

when mentioning Lucks best season under Reich he mentions Pete and Wilson(Reich was high on him). Could Frank and Young be the next duo...Remember now, Young IQ(Peyton like) opens everything up as far as plays. Reich doesn't like tendencies, and Young is the Improviser of Improvisers...a skill set you are born with.

He's QB should be able to read through his progressions(Young 1a and CJ2b...Hooker2a,dont believe me watch film.)

If there's pressure, his QB should be able to navigate the pocket, to hit the 2nd and third read. Young excels at this very thing, CJ is one read maybe two, he rarely hits his 3rd read he normally  checks it down or look for a RB in the flat*more sideline throws*(Once again not how Reich runs his offense, more vertical.)

Young would go thru all reads, sometimes he would hit the 4th read which normally is a hitch type route*up field throws*  but it was always based on timing.

sidenote: I'm a big gamer, think of Young's Madden special trait is like Precognition.

Young is already pro ready, he doesn't have to be coached up, lets say: keep both hands on the ball, when you run, McCrown said CJ needs help in that department. Can you imagine in preseason, we talked about this all training camp CJ, keep both hands on the ball....ughhh. Young learned that his first day of practice under Saban, and now its second nature to him.

I'm just 20mins in, lunch break, but that's why we drafting Young 100%

Great stuff, man appreciate the insight. Personally, I think Bryce Young is special but I think Panthers will take the safer option in Stroud

Well, I have been thinking since a couple days after the deal that they don’t trade DJ unless they see TMJ as fitting into their plan.
Especially when there were other pieces they could have substituted

I am thinking “which of the players that Chicago would accept as compensation, can be replaced with the least pain?” should have been a topic inside the Panthers’ think tank, when debating the deal. If there really were multiple possibilities, here comes old ‘due diligence’. You have to have that conversation.
If you believe that was discussed you may as well believe TMJr is a factor. It’s reasonable, no? Yes? I’d be maybe buying some of his stock about now.

I think you have Richardson confused with someone else.

That is so far from the truth. Richardson stands tall in the pocket going through his reads. He isn't a one read and go quarterback at all.
