His arm is shot when he's playing a starting role. His arm is pretty good until it starts inevitably wearing down as he plays more games. He could absolutely thrive in a Taysom Hill role still today.

If Cam had Andy Dalton 's personality and the signing of him would be a non-story after the initial headlines (and he was willing to settle for a role that isn't entrenched starting QB) he'd be on a roster.

Well we know how this ends. But if it makes him happy do your thing Cam it's all love. Plus the sight of him just existing ruffles the feathers of some here endlessly. I'll kick back and enjoy the entertainment.

I just really wish there was some miraculous surgery Cam could've undergone to get his shoulder back to 100% and he could resume playing with like 5 more years of peak ability.

Wishful thinking his arm just can’t handle it. If he was happy to be a backup he could win a few games but that shoulder doesn’t have much left

Honestly, over a full season there probably are.

In backup or spot duty he could potentially be valuable somewhere. But as a full time starter?

Makes me remember the good old days,Cam is pure class , I loved the expression on others players faces when he stole there TD ball and gave it to a fan without even discussing it

Is he throwing for their WR's because they don't have anyone legit for the drills? Or they don't have a draft eligible QB so they're letting him showcase what shapes he's in? I guess there's not really any specific rules about who can do what at pro days
