I don't have confidence, it's all hope. He has a little juice, and this will be year three---new coaches, new QB, and being hidden by Moore's shadow won't be a problem.

A 3 year deal for a 33 year old WR makes no sense. But when we are desperate for WR help I get it.

 

Trade for Hopkins and I like this move even more.

He is not seeing year 3 and he's not seeing all $25 million.

Year 3 is most likely a year where we can dump him with limited cap hit. He is guaranteed 14 million, he will probably get ~16-18 million when all is said and done.

This is not a bad contract for a #2 WR at all. Especially when we gave Robb(y/ie) Anderson 12 Million per year to do jack poo but drop passes and throw fits the past two seasons.

This is perfectly fine and won't screw us in the long term.

I know this doesn’t always mean anything, but TMJ and Adam both follow Chark on Social media. Someone on twitter said they are recent follows. Again, probably nothing.

So if I am right he will cost 3.73 this year.  The 1.65 salary and and the 2 mil signing bonus spread over 4 years.   We still have room to add Chark.

person in his article making it seem like it was thielen or chark and the panthers were concerned with his injury history. also made it seem like not trade for hopkins or jeudy, referring to thielen as their big move at WR. very disappointing

I am with the year three and he showed a little last year. And the tools he has. 
And I just don’t think DJ gets moved if they don’t think TMJr is ready to contribute more.

Don’t worry about cap space Fitterer has budgeted accordingly to do what he feels is necessary
