You are pulling the ellis twitter game of "I'm not knoking" "I've got nothing against" followed by a hours of personal digs

His contract is if anything a pretty nice second contract for a 25 y/o coming off a 1200 yard season that was on a SB tier squad.  His contract figures are on the same level as Kareem Hunt, James Conner, & Nyheim Hines.  We did not pay him a significant amount, this is not some huge deal.  We easily set ourselves up to find a pretty legit compliment like a Zach Charbonnet, McBride, or Roschon Johnson.

Would you rethink that offer?

Eh no, because we have not really seen our new offense in person but if I were a betting man its not gonna be the North and South running style we saw at the end of last year. Look at the Eagles, those running schemes are what we are gonna run and its not really Foreman friendly imo

    • Panthers are clearly not worried about cap space so why are we?
    • Other than being the offseason and there isn't much to talk about, why does anyone worry about the cap? We can do whatever we want and still have cap space. You don't think the front office hasn't already figured it out and what they intend to do. Me I am just sitting back and watching. After all my job isn't on the line if we lose. Although at my age we don't have forever if I am going to live to see us play in another superbowl
    • I get the TD's and I pointed it out, but like I said, when Burrow had more than double the TD's than Geno had, I think Higgins increased TDs compared to DK was more a product of Burrow and the Bengals offense than because of him vs DK as WRs. When one of their QB's finished 4th in MVP voting despite missing the playoffs and the other was just traded for a late 3rd round pick and replaced by Sam Darnold, I think that's a tough narrative to brush aside to just look at raw stats as well. Again, swap DK and Higgins last year, do you honestly believe DK wouldn't have put up better stats than Higgins did? Contracts and trade compensation aside, I'm taking DK over Higgins 100 out of 100 times, there is no debate about it for me.
