"they didn't play anybody" is a Horrible excuse. Did they make the schedule? No. they did what they had to do, win all of your games, and they did. So its a guessing game as far as the National Champion. put all the names in a computer, and then spit something out. its a joke

I don't think he was trying to say that.....you said that if teams like TCU, Boise, Cincy, etc. would schedule someone decent they might get more respect.

He was saying that they try to but the "big boys" won't play teams like that usually because if they lose to a team like that (Which is a good possibilty), then it would eliminate the chance of them making it to the championship game. Too high of a risk for a low reward.

They just need a damn playoff. Name each of the games after the sponsors that way they don't lose money. Problem solved.

Like I said a minute ago they all need to schedule tougher opponents, until then they need to shutup and just be happy they are in a BCS bowl. And yes they DO make the schedule. Big deal they beat one top 25 team this year.

Cincy has beaten three top 25 teams. That is more than Texas. What more can they do?

Texas has also played teams like Monroe, UTEP and Wyoming the last one which TCU also meet and won 45-10 ( Texas won 41-10 )

Never said that. I'm just upset they put TCU and Boise State against each other. It's a lose-lose for those two teams. That's my problem, not the title game, which is fine with me.

And for the record, I think these two teams can beat those teams. They can definitely hang with them throughout the game. But we'll never know since they won't play
